Microsoft have teased their latest character for the fan favourite fighter Killer Instinct season 2. We also have the introduction of Aganos, the sixth new character to enter the arena.

The teasers and gameplay trailers are starting to hit the scene thick and fast. The latest reveal showcases the introduction of Aganos a war golem with unknown origins. As with all of these introductions we get a teaser moment that introduces the next in line for Killer Instinct season 2. This time we have been introduced 'Ghost Girl'.

Firstly, Aganos is a war golem of unknown origin, sent on a quest thousands of years ago to hunt and kill Kan-Ra. Aganos has a green metallic appearance which would indicate that brand new he would have beamed a dark golden colour, a look that empowers him in battle however over the years the copper that he is comprised of has rusted turning his once shiny armour into a dull green shade. Aganos is huge with a hunchback, he has oversized hands and feet when compared to the rest of his body.

As he has aged, body parts that have rusted and fallen off or degraded away have had to be replaced. This has been done with wood, rocks and tree limbs.

The story from the fans

"Animated by a group of powerful artisans for a purpose lost to time, this war golem, the last of its kind, has been a prized possession of warlords, power mongers, and kings, its violent history writ large across the battlefields of Europe and Middle-East.
As the ages wore on and the battles continued, so was a toll taken on the golem’s body. Its creators long dead, it was impossible to replace its worn and broken components. Piece by piece, battle by battle, the golem lost its original identity, substituting rocks for metal, vines for bolts and ropes.

The golem felt nothing, thought of nothing. It only obeyed commands... until one king gave it a most unusual order. Instead of ordering the construct to kill or destroy, this king commanded it to learn, to think. He named it Aganos, “a person of gentle disposition”, in the hopes that it would grow beyond its previous use and into something that could choose how to act. While that simple command allowed Aganos free will, he remained loyal to the king out of respect and as repayment for liberating him from strict obedience.
Years later, that king learned that the traitorous Kan-Ra had survived the flesh-eating curse and was going deeper and deeper into research of the dark arts. The king asked Aganos to hunt down and destroy the evil sorcerer once and for all.
Aganos accepted this task, and for centuries, he has hunted Kan-Ra across the globe, battling on numerous occasions around the world, yet neither has ever been able to destroy the other completely."

Ghost Girl

So you have seen the teaser. Did you see a ghost? Ghost girl seems to resemble the tradition 'Ring' type japanese horror character. She is armed with a sword and killer martial arts no doubt. She is a totally new character not a reintroduction to the series. This also means that we don't know much about her.
