Say hello to our little friends over at CineFix who have masterfully re-imagined the iconic movie Scarface in 8 bit side to side gaming genius!

In the video below, the guys over at CineFix have showcased almost all of the most iconic scenes from the original 1983 movie, Scarface. Horizontally run and gun your way through the streets and into the cocaine fuelled finale.

To be specific, this adaption from silver screen to 8-bit is known as a "demake." A remake will typically adapt or improve a game from a more basic version to a more advanced one or reinvent an older title with bigger and better ideas. A demake on the other hand does the opposite, adapting or reimagining modern titles to the standards of an older platform.

"After getting a green card in exchange for assassinating a Cuban government official, Tony Montana (Al Pacino) stakes a claim on the drug trade in Miami. Viciously murdering anyone who stands in his way, Tony eventually becomes the biggest drug lord in the state, controlling nearly all the cocaine that comes through Miami. But increased pressure from the police, wars with Colombian drug cartels and his own drug-fueled paranoia serve to fuel the flames of his eventual downfall."
