Rumors continue to pop up that Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, [Jurassic World](movie:32752)) will soon be dawning a fedora for Disney's planned Indiana Jones reboot. This news has, for the most part, been widely accepted by fans, especially since it was revealed that Steven Spielberg is interested in possibly directing the film if the script meets with his liking.
Speaking last night with MTV News, Chris Pratt wouldn't reveal if he is indeed being considered for the role, but says he's happy about it being a possibility.
Said Pratt: "It's all nothing until it's something and so far it's not something....I don't think it's overwhelming to contemplate....It'd be cool. No one's called me. (There's) A lot of talk about it. The pressure would come just because it's such a great franchise you wouldn't want to get it wrong, so for me it would have to be perfect to do it. We'll see, like I said it's nothing until it's something."
As indicated earlier, the film is still in the very early stages of development and, while it is indeed moving forward by the sound of things, there isn't even a story, let alone a script, in place at this time.
More info as it becomes available!
