Once Upon a Time, a ABC TV show, tells the story of fairy tale characters getting transported into our world without any memory of there fairy tale lives by the Evil Queen (played by Lana Parrilla). But before they are transported, they send Snow White (played by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming's (played by Josh Dallas) baby daughter to our world before she was trapped in the cursed town of Storybrooke, Maine with the rest of them. This happens after Rumpelstiltskin (played by Robert Carlyle) tells a prochecy that on Snow White's daughter's 20th birthday that she shall come to Storybrooke to break the curse (this is the storyline for season 1)

Now, you may be thinking: I already know the stories of the fairy tales. But some stories start at the end of the fairy tale and continues on (for instance, Pinocchio's (played by Eion Bailey) story starts after getting turned into a real boy). This series also features flashbacks, that's right it features the present (Storybrooke) and the past (the magic forest) stories. But other stories that re-tell the fairy tale are twisted (for instance, Red Riding Hood (played by Meghan Ory) is the wolf). Season 1 I think was boring compared to the rest of the seasons but when it first aired I loved it. And of course the daughter has a son who was put up for adoption and is The Evil Queen's adoptive son.

Season 2 is more magical because magic has come to Storybrooke. This changes everything and of course a new season means new characters. New characters for season 2 include Mulan (played by Jamie Chung), Aurora (played by Sarah Solger), and Captain Hook (played by Colin O'Donoghue). Season 2 also means a lot more twists (for instance, Rumpelstiltskin is the crocodile who cuts Captain Hook's hand off, but don't worry Peter Pan exists but your going to wish he didn't). It also reveals that Rumple's son is the father of Emma Swan's son.

Season 3 introduces 2 new worlds (Neverland and Oz) and villains (Peter Pan (played by Robbie Kay) and The Wicked Witch of the West (played by Rebecca Mader). It also introduces Felix (played by Parker Croft), Tinker-Bell (played by Rose McIver), Ariel (played by Joanna García), Rapunzel (played by Alexandra Metz), and Blackbeard (played by Charles Mesure). Several twists are revealed but there are only two that effect the storyline (one is that Peter Pan is a transformed version of Rumpelstiltskin's father who abandoned a young Rumple for being a child, and the second one is that The Wicked Witch is The Evil Queen's step sister).

Season 4 (the current season) introduces the world of Arendelle. Along with villains The Snow Queen (played by Elizabeth Mitchell) and The Queens of Darkness (Cruella De Vil (played by Victoria Smurfit), Ursala (played by Merrin Dungey), and Maleficent (played by Kristin Bauer van Straten). Along with them, Elsa (played by Georgina Haig), Anna (played by Elizabeth Lail), and Kristoff (played by Scott Michael Foster) are introduced into the show.

Maleficent, Cruella, and Ursula are The Queens of Darkness

So, to round it all up, Once Upon a Time is an awesome sci-fi fantasy series to watch.
