It's needless to remind the comic book followers, the true identity of S.T.A.R Labs scientist Dr. Caitlin Snow or what happened of her in the DC universe. Since her introduction in The Flash TV Series, speculations have been flowing around on her. Dr. Wells and Grodd might have stolen the attention, but sometimes the unexpected comes at the end, in a grand way.

Viewers following the series, would at times get mesmerized by the sweetness and the charm of the nerdy Dr. Snow but hardcore comic followers may get a hint of something, that just might prove to be huge! Ok, Ok! I am coming to the point!!

Anyways, we have seen how manipulative and dangerous Dr. Harrison Wells actually is. There are no second doubts about his lethal agendas revolving Flash and the people around him. And we have seen him, how is preparing Flash for something huge for the coming times. I mean we saw him prepare Grodd to be [The Flash](series:1068303)'s nemesis. He is hell bent on shaping Barry into a superhero and for that, he would cross any limits (R.I.P Mr. Stagg!).

"You wanna catch the Flash? I dare you $#*(&% !!"
"You wanna catch the Flash? I dare you $#*(&% !!"

So my theory is this; if Dr. Wells a.k.a Reverse Flash does have malevolent plans for Barry then he should know that he has got friends too; the newest being the kick-ass Firestorm. Even with super speed, a walking thermal reactor cannot be tamed. In order to get over with the Flash, Dr. Wells must create a diversion so that Barry's allies could be tamed. According to Cisco and mainstream science, speed force can be countered at sub zero temperatures. That was the main reason why Captain Cold and his cold-gun scored more points than malevolent meta-humans. But what good is it when it comes to Firestorm?

Here enters Dr. Caitlin Snow!!

"I am getting attention? Well, that's cute!"
"I am getting attention? Well, that's cute!"

We all have seen how meticulously Dr. Wells is planning his mission which is still unclear but for the time being, we know that he hates loose ends when it comes to planning. He, after all, holds a lot of knowledge about the future and he admitted of defeating Flash is to be his destiny. So, obviously such a guy would never take the Flash's defeat by someone else's hand, calmly! And, he would not like any hindrance when it comes between him and the Flash. So, there might be a chance of Wells, using Dr. Snow as a catalyst in the Firestorm reaction!

People who have been following the New 52 surely would know the origins of Dr. Snow as a S.T.A.R Labs scientist and her complex chemistry with Firestorm. As per the newly rebooted Prime Earth origins, her physiology changes when she rips off the wires of the STU engine to save it from the H.I.V.E agents, eventually turning her into a heat vampire who can temporarily cure her condition by feeding on heat. This is where she gets confronted by Firestorm and while fighting him, she gets to feel that the superhero can actually be a key to her cure. The creators of the hit TV series have intelligently placed Ronnie Raymond as her love interest, which changes things accordingly. So, to stop Firestorm, we will need a Killer Frost!!

"Here, I am!!"
"Here, I am!!"

Killer Frost isn't a small name in the DC villains' list. She is a team-mate of the rogues. The previous Killer Frost (Louise Lincoln) was a permanent member of Task Force - X. And what makes her more lethal is her stunning beauty and unpredictability. At times, she has even stunned the likes of Batman and Superman. Undoubtedly, she is under-rated but actually, is a force to reckon with. So, if Dr. Snow is destined to become Killer Frost then the future-man, Dr. Wells might be well aware of this fact. And who else other than Dr. Wells has a sound knowledge about thermodynamics! There comes his solution to tackle Firestorm.

So, the question now is, how will she transform into Killer Frost? Well, there are two possibilities; the comics way or the series way.

The Comics way: If this is going to be the way, then we might get to see H.I.V.E or its near replacement A.R.G.U.S in the Flash. The series has wooed me a lot of times and has convinced me that the makers are just too smart! She might end up in an accident involving sub-zero conditions, which might change her physiology. That's the physical make up. Talking about the mental makeup, Dr. Wells is quite adept in manipulation! Isn't it? Well I may be wrong but I can see it going this way or the other way....

The Series way: Particle Accelerator! That's the answer! Clearly, the accelerator has been the reason for the Flash and the other meta-humans out in Central city. Now some would question, if that's so then how come she did not discover her powers till now? There's an explanation to it. Those following the Arrow, will be acquainted with the mind-manipulating drug that drove Thea Queen into murdering her friend Black Canary. This theory might not seem that sound but it can be possible as the potential of that specific drug has not been completely revealed to the viewers. Figuring something of his use isn't a daunting task for Dr. Wells and if he needs something, he gets it at any cost. (Ask Mercury Labs, if you don't believe me!) So, this might have happened that Dr. Wells found out her transformation and knowing that she can be used as a surprise weapon against Firestorm, he decided to keep it a secret by somehow using the same drug on her and erasing that particular memory of hers. In this way, she loses her memory of the transformation and stays dormant.

Final Words: I have been following the series from day one as I used to be a huge DC fan in the childhood. And I have to accept that the makers of this series have made justice with my childhood hero! Now all the wait is for the show down between Flash and the Reverse and let's not forget Dr. Wells' sick games! Quite Amazing!!
