Child actors...some stay successful, some start families and some even go crazy. Most of horror's most memorable characters where played by children. This is the first installment of 'Children of Horror: Where Are They Now?'

Linda Blair (The Exorcist 1973)

Linda Blair then and now

Linda Blair is best known for playing Regan MacNeil, the scariest little girl in cinematic history. At the tender age of 14, Blair beat out 600 other applicants for the iconic role. Now 56, Blair is still appearing in several films and television series including the CW hit series, Supernatural. She is also an animal activist and humanitarian working with organizations such as PETA and Feed The Children.

Danielle Harris (Halloween 4 1984)

Danielle's career has been a mix of independent films as well as blockbusters, but most horror fans know her as Jamie Lloyd, the niece of Michael Myers from Halloween 4 and 5. Harris is also a voice actress having lent her voice to the cartoon series The Wild Thornberrys and a couple animated films. More recently, she played Marybeth in Hatchet II and III. Danielle made her directorial debut in 2013 with Among Friends. Now 37, she has gotten married and is currently taking a break from acting to focus on directing and having a family.

Harvey Stephens (The Omen 1976)

Known to horror fans as the original Damien Thorn. Stephens returned to The Omen with the film's 2006 remake as a tabloid reporter, this was his last film. Now 44, he is married, still does conventions, but keeps a low profile for the most part.

Daeg Faerch (Halloween 2007)

Daeg is best known as young Michael in Rob Zombie's 2007 re-imagining of Halloween, sadly he was replaced for the films sequel for looking too mature. Some know him as the bully from the Will Smith film Hancock. He was sidelined in 2012 due to a near-fatal head injury. Faerch began a rapping career which he is currently taking a break from. Now 19, he has four films slated for release in 2015 and is currently on the convention circuit.

Miko Hughes (Pet Sematary 1989)

Hughes was only 27-months-old and barely walking when he played the adorably creepy Gage Creed in Pet Sematary. He went on to play a reoccurring role on the '90s family sitcom Full House as one of Michelle Tanner's friends. Miko returned to horror in 1994 as Dylan in Wes Craven's New Nightmare. He also has voice-over credits for voicing twins Sly and Witt in the hit film Baby Geniuses. Now 29, he is a director, actor and musician and will be in 3 films that are due out this year.

Danny Lloyd (The Shining 1980)

Lloyd is known to horror fans as the creepy little cutie Danny Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's iconic 1980 film, The Shining. He was selected for the role at the age of 6 because of his ability to maintain his concentration for an extended period of time. Now 42, Lloyd is a professor of biology at a community college in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Alex Vincent (Child's Play 1988)

Vincent is best known as Andy Barclay of Child's Play and Child's Play 2, he returned as Andy in 2013's Curse of Chucky for a brief time at the end. He has three films due out this year. Now 34, Vincent works as a sound engineer in the Tampa Bay area.

Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th 1980)

Lehman is the original Jason, playing the child version of one of the most iconic horror villains in the 1980 classic Friday the 13th. Ari has been in a host of independent films over the last decade, and has 3 titles set for release this year. He is also a musician trained in Classical music and Jazz piano, he has won awards for his skills on the Jazz piano, in fact. He has composed and recorded several soundtracks for independent films. Now 49, Lehman plays in a punk metal band called 'First Jason,' named after his role in Friday the 13th.

Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp 1983)

At the age of 13, Felissa played transvestite murderer Angela Baker in the cult classic horror film, Sleepaway Camp. She would be replaced as Angela for the next two films by Pamela Springsteen. Now 45, Rose is married to CKY singer/guitarist Deron Miller and is the mother of 3 children. Her career is still active.

Danny Pintauro (Cujo 1983)

Pintauro played on the soap opera As the World Turns and the classic sitcom Who's the Boss?, but horror fans know him as Tad Trenton of the 1983 classic, Cujo. Now 39, Danny is married to his long time boyfriend and manages a restaurant in Las Vegas.

Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense)

At only 10-years-old, Osment was giving us all the creeps opposite Bruce Willis as Cole Sears in The Sixth Sense. He is also the older brother of former Disney star Emily Osment. Haley is also an avid golfer and has competed in several tournaments. Now 26, Osment follows a mostly meat-free diet. He was in Kevin Smith's dark comedy Tusk as Teddy Craft. He has 2 films set for release in 2015, one of them is another Kevin Smith film where he will star opposite Kevin's daughter, Harley Quinn Smith and Johnny Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, called Yoga Hosers.

Chloe Grace Moretz (The Amittyville Horror)

Chloe first came to the horror scene in 2005's Amittyville Horror as Chelsea Lutz. She has had a very promising horror career starring in several other titles like Wicked Little Things, The Eye, Let Me In and the 2013 reboot of Carrie. Now 18, Chloe is a model and has had a film released in pretty much every genre of movies. In 2014, she was named one of Time magazine's '25 Most Influential Teens.'

Drew Barrymore (Firestarter)

First she was the adorable Gertie in the 1982 Steven Spielberg classic, E.T., she went on to star in quite a few more horror films in her career including, Firestarter, Cat's Eye, Poison Ivy, Waxwork II, Doppelganger and Wes Craven's hit, Scream. Barrymore struggled with drugs and alcohol at a very young age, but got herself cleaned up and became America's sweetheart. Now 40, she is a married mother of 2 with a largely successful career.

Kyle Richards (Halloween 1978)

Horror fans know her as the pigtail wearing Lindsey Wallace from John Carpenter's 1978 horror classic Halloween. She is the aunt of Nicky and Paris Hilton (their mother's half sister). Now 46, Richards owns a boutique in Beverly Hills called Kyle by Alene Too. She can be found on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
