Jeremy Jordan is the latest addition to the cast of SUPERGIRL.

The Smash star, will play Winslow "Winn" Schott in a guest starring role on CBS' Supergirl.

Schott is being described as "a tech genius and superstar IT whiz who works alongside Kara at Cat Grant’s company, CatCo.", who happens to be Kara's neighbour and, although she doesn't know, he carries a torch for the young superhero-to-be.

DC Comics fans may recognize Winslow Schott by his alias... Toyman, who likes to create what on the outside look like harmless toys but hides real weapons on the inside.

At the moment we will just be seeing Jordan as Schott with no mention of his villainous side appearing on the show... yet.

Aside from the short lived Smash, Jordan has appeared on Broadway in Newsies and Bonnie and Clyde, on the big and small screen in Joyful Noise, Elementary and in the soon to be released The Last Five Years, alongside Anna Kendrick.

Supergirl has also added Arrow/The Flash alum, Andrew Kreisberg, as a writer and executive producer on the show along with Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler.

Jordan will appear alongside previously announced cast members: Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra "Alex" Danvers, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw and Dean Cain and Helen Slater as, at the moment, unannounced characters.

They may be unannounced but I'm pretty sure Dean Cain and Helen Slater will be playing Ma and Pa Danvers. That's my theory anyway.
