Last week, I wrote about the unlikely friendships that have blossomed between celebrities, which you can check out HERE.
This week, however, is all about enemies. Now were out of the romantic month of February, we turn our attention away from love and towards hatred, taking a look at 7 of the most bitchy duelling duos in Hollywood. Get ready, the gloves are about to come off...
1. Eminem vs. Mariah Carey
Rapper Eminem has long since claimed to having had a relationship with Carey, despite her insinuations that nothing romantic or sexual occurred between the two.
In any case, Marshall Mathers seemed pretty jaded about Carey finding love with her husband Nick Cannon, going so far as to write a song attacking the married couple. In 'Bagpipes From Baghdad,' Eminem's razor sharp tongue took a couple of critical stabs, calling Carey a "whore" and Cannon a "prick."
Cannon responded by saying the rapper's career is based on "racist bigotry," threatening to get revenge. In the end, Carey did so for him, dressing up as a parody of Eminem who stalks the pop star in one of her videos. Sick burn!
2. Daniel Craig vs. The Kardashian Clan
The deadly British agent doesn't pull his punches on screen, so why wouldn't he off it?! In the January issue of GQ magazine, Daniel Craig got on the divisive topic of the Kardashians, saying:
You see that and you think, 'What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f--king idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?'
Shots fired, Mr. Bond! Kris Jenner, a.k.a. Mama Kardashian, wasn't at all happy with Craig's dismissive remarks, telling Heat he "crossed the line. It's not made him look like the world's nicest guy. The right thing for a real man to do now would be to issue a public apology."
She's still waiting on that apology.
3. Orlando Bloom vs. Justin Bieber
Bieber's rubbed A LOT of people the wrong way on the road to stardom, but perhaps none more so than Orlando.
Trouble began brewing when the Canadian musical sensation began hanging out with Bloom's now ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. Keen to get his own back, Orlando hooked up with Bieber's ex, Selena Gomez. It all came to a head earlier this year, when Orlando threw a punch at the provocative pop star in an Ibiza restaurant.
Justin continued to tease the Lord of the Rings actor by posting a picture of him crying on his Instagram feed. I don't think these two are gonna be shaking hands any time soon...
4. Tom Cruise vs. Brooke Shields
Raving renowned Scientologist Tom Cruise has always been a little, how do I say this...crazy?
Perhaps it's not such a surprise then that he chose to attack Brooke Shields while she was suffering from postpartum depression, shaming her publicly by claiming she was “misguided” for using antidepressants, as well as stating her career was over. Hit her while she's down, why don't you.
5. Seth Rogen vs. Justin Bieber
Surprise, surprise, it's the second time Bieber's appeared on this list - he really does have a knack for pissing people off.
This little rivalry began with Seth Rogan's brutally honest tweet:
Rogan followed up by warning the world that:
He seems like he’s obnoxious and ungrateful… he puts people’s lives at danger.
Funnily enough, it seems that Bieber is quite the fan of Rogan, begging the comedian to roast him on Comedy Central. Be careful what you wish for...
6. Jennifer Aniston vs. Angelina Jolie
Can you imagine what in the world would lead to these two mature Hollywood actresses falling out? Oh yeah, Brad Pitt.
Angelina was a little more than inconsiderate when she divulged her feelings for Brad while on the set Mr. and Mrs. Smith - a time when Aniston and Pitt were still married. Jen said:
I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss…that was really uncool.
Relations between the two superstars have been icy ever since, though Aniston says she's still on good terms with her ex-husband and has nothing but admiration for him. Way to rise above the drama, Jen!
7. Will Smith vs. Aunt Viv from The Fresh Prince
Actress Janet Hubert harbored a real hatred for her Fresh Prince co-star, Will Smith, who she said was an “egomaniac.” However, according to Smith, Hubert tended to be over-dominating on set and supposedly wanted it to be the “Aunt Viv of Bel-Air” show.
Hubert still blames the actor for her replacement and refuses to meet him at any reunions because "he has not grown up." Talk about a grudge!
