If you couldn't tell, the first mutant on my list is Nightcrawler, a.k.a Kurt Wagner. He is my all-time favourite out of all the X-Men (though it was a bit of a toss-up between him and the fabulous Wolverine). Here are the reasons why I like him so much:

1. His name(s).

I mean, why not? His real name, in my opinion, makes him sound cute, and, no matter what reincarnation of him I've seen, he has been. And his mutant name suits him so well. Dark hair, dark skin (or is that fur?) totally gives his name justice.

2. His nationality.

The man is German, for Pete's sake. Who doesn't love cute foreign boys with accents? ;-)

3. His outfit.

Red, black, and white totally go great with his dark complexion and bright yellow eyes. How the hell does he get that thing on every day?

4. His powers.

I mean, seriously, who wouldn't want to teleport places? I think it would be a convenient power to have and also a fun one. (I also like his tail, which I know is a part of his mutation and not his powers, but still, it's cool and adorable at the same time.)

5. His nickname.

In two different TV shows (to my knowledge) Wolverine sometimes calls Nightcrawler 'elf'. I think that's just great, because Kurt does have pointy elf ears. I love it when someone's nickname is accurate. BTW, the TV shows are X-Men Evolution (2000-2003) and Wolverine and the X-Men (2008-2009). Correct me if I'm wrong or if I'm missing any.

Well, this is all I could think up for him. Do any of you have other reasons to like him? If so, tell me in the comments!
