This is my first article, so bare with me. This is a question I have been trying to answer: Which film will be better: [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](movie:293035) or Captain America 3: Civil War? This article will provide points to both films and at the end I will make a conclusion. Seem fair? Good.
Before I start, I want to say that I am exited for these films and can't wait to see them.
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Age of Ultron. The sequel to Marvel's [The Avengers](movie:9040). The story is about Tony Stark creating a robot AI to help humanity when the Avengers need a break from saving the world when all of a sudden the AI, known as Ultron, becomes sentient and goes on a murderous rampage to cleanse the world of mankind. So it's up to the Avengers to stop Ultron before he kills every person on the planet. The film will also feature new characters such as Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and the Vision.
This film is my second most anticipated film of the year (behind Star Wars 7, duh) and what I believe will be one of the best Marvel movies ever. Why am I so exited? It's another Avengers movie. The first Avengers is my pick for best MCU movie and I believe the Avengers so far have the best villain with Loki. Well so far from what I've seen in the trailers these opinions will change. Ultron is geared to be the best villain in the MCU. The best part about is that Ultron can actually do damage to the Avengers. While Loki is an awesome villain, he never posed a threat to the Avengers, but Ultron can beat ALL of them. This is the film where we may finally see one of the Avengers die. That's because Ultron can kill any one of them. That gets me exited about the villain. All of our favorite Avengers are also coming back with Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black WIdow, and Hawkeye, and we are getting new characters with Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and the Vision, that gets me exited to see what the new character can do and also to see our favorite heroes back in action. What else am I exited for? Well, the easter-eggs. This film will set-up Civil War, so we will see some bantering going on. For the end-credits scene, there are a number of options for it. We could get Ant-Man, but I think that's unlikely. We could get Loki and Heimdall like Idris Elba said, but I'm not a huge fan of that. We could see the scene where Cap and Tony are arguing from Comic-Con, I'd be game for that. But what I think will be the way they go and one I really want to see is the introduction of...drum roll... SPIDER-MAN!!!!!!!!!! Come on man, that would be awesome if it happened. The crowd would be in an uproar in theaters, people would be giving standing ovations as we finally live the dream of Spider Man being in the MCU. Speaking of Spider Man, SEGWAY!!!
Captain America 3: Civil War
Captain America 3 will be Civil War. The sequel to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The story is about the introducing of the Superhuman Registration Act following the events of Age of Ultron in which the government wants super humans to register so they can keep them accountable and use them for government uses. Captain America is opposed to this because it goes against civil liberties, but Iron Man is for it because he feels guilty about creating Ultron and feels heroes should be held accountable for their actions. The two bud head and split. Every hero is split between which side to go with. Friendships are broken and enemies are made as Cap and Iron Man are at odds with each other and both are willing to risk everything for what they believe is right in an epic between Captain America and Iron Man.
This is also one of my anticipated films of 2016. Why am I exited? While this is a Captain America sequel, it also functions as a mini-Avengers film with Cap and Iron Man appearing with [Black Widow](movie:1070824), Winter Soldier, Falcon, Black Panther, most likely the long awaited appearance of Spider-Man in the MCU, and possible appearances by Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and one or two of the Defenders like Luke Cage or Daredevil. From all of the Marvel films this is a film from the MCU we haven't seen, where it's hero vs. hero and where it's ideology vs. ideology. We are seeing our two favorite Marvel heroes fighting each other, and we will eventually have to pick sides. I really don't know what they would do with the end-credits scene. Maybe like a [Thor: Ragnarok](movie:956858) or Guardians of the Galaxy 2 or have another scene with Thanos looking evil.
Conclusion- At this point all I can say is that I'm exited for both of these films and I can't say which one I would rather see. But for now, if I wanted to make a choice I would say I'm more exited for Civil War, but I'm still very exited about Age of Ultron and we will see which one of these films will be better or if either one is better than the other.
Which film are you most exited about?
