Its been over ten years since audiences last laid eyes on InGen's genetically engineered theme park monsters, but, this June, we're going back! Jurassic World is one of the most anticipated films of 2015, and fans old and new are eager to experience the excitement on the big screen once again.
And it's not just the fans who're excited...
Rumor has it that Universal Pictures is incredibly confident in the box office performance of Jurassic World. They are said to be very pleased with the story Colin Trevorrow has created and are predicting strong box office numbers upon release.
As a result, it sounds as though the studio has decided to move ahead with a sequel to [Jurassic World](movie:32752). It was reported last year that Colin Trevorrow had ideas for more JP flicks if the newest installment proved to be successful, so it now sounds as if these plans are set to become a reality.
Everything is in the very early stages at this point and whether or not Colin Trevorrow will return to direct the sequel remains to b seen. But, either way, it certainly sounds as if more Dino-mite flicks are in the pipeline.
Although this doesn't come as much of a surprise, until something is officially announced, take this story with a grain of salt for now.
Fingers crossed though, more JP movies can only be good thing in our books.
Until next time, Infinite Earths fans!
