On March 6th, the The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 lands on DVD and Blu-ray and in advance of the hotly-anticipated release, three deleted scenes have surfaced as teasers for what fans might expect. Word has it there are 6 more deleted scenes in the special features.

When book series are converted into movie franchises, there is often a lot of content that cannot be adapted. Usually, this may be due to time restrictions or simply because the events aren't deemed necessarily for the re-telling of the final plot.

Below, I have included three scenes from the latest movie that were excluded from the final cut. Take a look and decide for yourselves, should they have been included?

Scene 1: "We're still in the game"

Katniss and Haymitch come head-to-head over Peeta being left behind. As she gets pretty heated, blaming her mentor for past events, he quietly agrees. Reassuring the feisty fighter, Haymitch reminds her than not all has been lost, claiming "we're still in the game." How does Katnis react? See for yourselves:

Scene 2: "I'm not asking"

Peeta is summoned by President Snow to discuss his role in the revolution. Although the President attempts to woo him by praising his character and marking him out a "symbol," the conversation soon turns sour. Check out the full conversation:

Scene 3: "The face of the revolution"

As the District make-up artists put eyeshadow and a horrific shade of pink blush on Katniss's cheeks, Effie storms in. Scolding them for doing a shoddy job, she angrily shouts "this is the face of a revolution, not some cave painting!" Take a look at what happens next in the clip below:
