Evan needs a change of scenery, so he decides to backpack through Europe. During a stop in a small Italian village he meets Louise, a beautiful and mysterious woman. There is an instant attraction and a flirtatious relationship begins. Evan is clearly taken with Louise, but it eventually becomes clear that she is keeping a dark, horrifying secret. A secret that could put both of their lives in danger.

Here is a first look at the upcoming film, Spring:

Spring is directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, and stars Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Hilker. It's in theaters and on iTunes March 20, 2015.

I’m very excited about this movie. It looks like something different, which is always sorely needed in the horror genre. And it doesn’t hurt that this is the second feature by the writing/directing team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, whose first full-length film, Resolution, was a fantastic mind-bending trip. If Resolution was a promise of things to come I’m feeling pretty good about Spring.

So where do you stand? Let me know your thoughts below.

*Bonus points if you recognize the male lead, without cheating, from a certain 2013 remake of a horror classic. I confess I had to resort to IMDB. He looks totally different!

How excited are you to see Spring?
