The groundbreaking live action animation crossover, Who Framed Roger Rabbit was released over two decades ago, and since then we have tragically lost a lot of the movie's main players.

The legendary Bob Hoskins, whose comic genius was undoubtably the driving force behind the movie's success, is sadly no longer with us, but here is what some of the other Roger Rabbit characters are up to now:

Bob Hoskins (Eddie Valiant)

Died In: April 29, 2014

The British actor, Bob Hoskins, may no longer be with us, but it is still very much worth evaluating his wonderful career.

Although his best known work has always been Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hoskins received a Golden Globe and the BAFTA for his role as George in the noir crime drama, Mona Lisa, just two years earlier.

After playing Eddie in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Hoskins became much beloved with a younger audience thanks to his role as the hilarious Smee in the 1991 kids classic, Hook.

Other well known Hoskin's movies range from the bizarre Super Mario Bros. (1993), the hilarious Mrs. Henderson Presents (2005) and the warm-hearted British Made in Dagenham (2010).

His final role was as Muir, the blind prophetic dwarf in Snow White and the Huntsman in 2011. Hoskins retired from acting when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Christopher Lloyd (Judge Doom)

Age Now: 76

What's He Been Up To? Christopher Lloyd filmed Who Framed Roger Rabbit in between shooting Back to the Future and Back to the Future II, in which he plays the beloved Dr. Emmett Brown.

Lloyd is also well known for playing Uncle Fester in The Addams Family (1991) and The Addams Family Values (1993).

Lloyd's prolific career spans both the genres of movies and TV and he has lent his voice to numerous animated productions, including Don Bluth's Anastasia (1997).

Most recently, you might remember Lloyd from his role as Mr. Goodman in Piranha 3D (2010), or Kroenig in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014).

Joanna Cassidy (Dolores)

Age Now: 69

What's She Been Up To? After Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cassidy went on to play high flying executive Rose Lindsey in one of my favorite childhood films, Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991).

You might also remember Cassidy as Lily Michelli, the main antagonist in 2006's Larry the Cable Guy.

Cassidy has been the most successful in terms of award nominations with her TV role as Margaret Chenowith in Six Feet Under. Crime shows obviously suited Cassidy because she went on to play Joan Hunt in Body of Proof until it was cancelled in 2013.

Richard Ridings (Angelo)

Age Now: 56

What's He Been Up To? Richard Ridings biggest roles have been in British TV shows that are not really known in the States (Fat Friends and Common as Muck).

The classically trained actor has also taken on small roles in some blockbuster movies including Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life (2003) and The Brothers Grimm (2005).

Ridinds biggest movie role since Who Framed Roger Rabbit is in Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) where he plays a courageous gorilla named Buck.

Joel Silver (Raoul)

Age Now: 62

What's He Been Up To? After appearing in Who Framed Roger Rabbit as a director, Silver went on to become a huge producer instead!

Silver is best know for helping to bring us action classics such as Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, and The Matrix.

But, What Happened to the Animated Stars?

Unfortunately, according to a documentary style movie from Steve Cutts, Jessica and Roger Rabbit aren't doing so hot these days.

Jessica Rabbit is now morbidly obese, obsessed with takeaway grub and blabbering on about her hemorrhoids and belching.

Roger just seems grateful she hasn't carried out her threats to take him to the pet shop.

Check out the sorry sight for yourself in the video below:
