Big (1988), staring Tom Hanks, is a classic I'm sure many of us are familiar with. It's the neat little movie about a boy, Josh Baskins, who after getting denied access to a carnival ride, wishes he was big. He's in for a bit of a shock the next morning when he wakes up as an adult! I guess the phrase "careful what you wish for" is relevant here, huh?

"Whoa, read the sign. 'You must be at least this big to ride this ride.' "

I remember quite a few years ago, I rewatched the movie for what seemed like the hundredth time. While watching, I saw the CGA text adventure that Josh was playing on his computer at home, and I really wanted to play it too! I searched the depths of the internet, only to be disappointed to find out that the game was created for the movie, and did not exist. A sad day for all of us adventurers.

This non-existent video game completely slipped my mind until now. I'm about six years late to the party, but I just discovered that someone recreated it! BoMToons made a simple Flash game that closely resembles the what we see in the movie. They called it The Cavern of the Evil Wizard. They didn't expand on the game, so all you can really do is fiddle around in the cave and see if you can get any ridiculous phrases out of it, but it's still worth checking out if you were a fan of Big, and like me, wanted to play the game.
