Back in the tail section the spared eighteen survivors are huddled together in Gilliam's private quarters. Suddenly a cube of grimy, titanium walls, ceiling, floor and doors slam loudly together. As the rest of the train turns into a speeding fire ball, this cube, is ejected out of the very rear of the train, with all of it's occupants, to land, skidding across the frozen wasteland. As soon as they come to a screeching halt, the doors fall onto the ice and snow. As the lone surviving passengers, to their knowledge, one thought falls onto the mind of all eighteen. "Colonization and rebuilding." In the following years, these two concepts of colonization and rebuilding expands into what sustains the fate of all mankind.
