I've been reading since I can remember, reading for me is something that I love to do. I dream of being a novelist one day hoping my books will turn into movies. We all know that when a book becomes extremely popular it is made into a movie, or a tv show. So here are a few books that I believe, in my opinion, should hit the big screen already! I would also recommend you to read them before if they are to be turned into movies or anything else, I hope you enjoy my list!

The Alchemist

The Alchemist

Currently I am reading "The Alchemist" So far the book is really good; It is about a young shepherd boy named Santiago who goes on a journey in search of a treasure that is buried in the Pyramids, as he is traveling he has to try and overcome any obstacle that stands in his way. I believe that "The Alchemist" will be an excellent movie and it will inspire many people because it's about following your dreams and that anything is possible.

The Maximum Ride Series

Maximum Ride

I first read the Maximum ride series in the 7th grade. I was so hooked on the book. It only took me 2 or 3 days to finish it. This book has it all; action, mystery, crime, ass kicking, what's not to love about that? Hopefully it will be in theaters one day.

Life As We Knew It

Life as we knew it

Life As We Knew is about a young girl Miranda and her family trying to survive the world. When an asteroid hits the moon, everything changes, there's not much electricity or food. The main theme in the book is "survival". It's about people trying to survive in the world they live in. This would make a nice movie.

The Enemy

In "The Enemy" there is a worldwide sickness in London. Anyone who becomes infected turns into a cannibalistic zombies. There's a lot of violence and non-stop action, who doesn't like that? This would make another great zombie movie in my opinion.

Running Out of Time

This is probably one of my favorite books; I love the characters and the plot. The book is really interesting. So what's it about? Well it's about a girl named Jessie; she lives in the village named Clifton believing it's the 1800s, but in reality it's not. It is actually 1996. When a disease known as diphtheria spreads through the village, it us up to Jessie to find help and find a cure for it. She has to get used to the world she doesn't know, like understanding technology and how phones work. This needs to be made into a movie ASAP.

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children is a debut novel by Ransom Riggs. The novel tells the story of a boy who goes to an orphanage and discovers that kids who lived there were not normal, the book can get the attention of many readers. The book also shows photographs that are quite creepy and it's very creative. According to IMDB, the book will be made into a movie in 2016

Confessions of a Murder Suspect

Oh look, another amazing book by James Patterson, he is one of my favorite authors. The story is about the murder of Tandy's parents. Tandy is the main character and she wants to find out what happened and what was the reason that her parents. So who killed them? As I was reading the book, every character looked like a suspect, which was pretty hard to say who committed the murder. Tandy decides to find out who killed her parents and the reason behind it. Confessions of a Murder suspect would make a great detective-mystery movie!

1st page of chapter one from the book: "One minute the teacher was talking about the Civil war. And the next minute he was gone." When I read this I thought, this is a really good intro, it can make any reader become hooked on it and the author did an excellent job on that. In the book Gone, anyone who is an adult or older than 15 just disappear from the world, they're just gone and never come back. So it's up to the the who are still in the world to figure out what is going on and how it is happening.

In the book "Uglies" everyone who is ugly, turns pretty by the age of 16. How does that happen? Plastic surgery, yes that's right. Society doesn't accept anyone who is ugly or not perfect. People get judged by their appearance. The main character Tally Youngblood, wants to be a pretty, but she meets Shay, a teen who does not want to became a pretty, she tells Tally about a hidden town known as the Smoke, everyone from there is an ugly and they don't want to have the plastic surgery. The authorities offer tally a difficult choice , which is turn Shay in, or risk being ugly her whole life.

The Lunar Chronicles Series

According to Wikipedia: The Lunar Chronicles is a series of five young adult fantasy novels by American author Marissa Meyer. Each book involves a new take on an old fairy tale, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Snow White. The story takes place in a futuristic world where humans, cyborgs, and androids all coexist. I believe that the story is excellent and really unique.

Cassia, the main character, lives in a society where choices are made for her, like what to eat, what to read, who to love, etc. Cassia is in love with Xander, her best friend, but sad thing is that she didn't match with him, instead she was chosen to be with someone else. Throughout the story, Cassia learns the dirty secrets of her society.

Well that's it, although there are more novels I believe should be made into a movie. I hope you enjoy my list, this is just my opinion.
