Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, today is a good day. Why you ask? I will tell you why. Because Made Legit Media has posted its official "Pilot/Teaser" for the new Spider-Man web series that is in the works and right within our reach. Check it out below!

Ok, now that you've seen this Pilot there are a few things to consider. The first being this; THIS IS A PILOT. I understand that some want to see new villains, (Carnage being at the top of the list), an actual Spider-Man Suit, more characters etc, but remember, all of this will come with time. The crew at Made Legit Media are working hard to deliver what the fans want to see. Obviously they will not please everyone, but their goal is to leave all fans of Spider-Man smiling with this new web series. Now, while this teaser features two villains: Doc Oc and The Lizard; this is not to say that these will be the villains represented in the actual first episode. These villains were added because they are well known and generally well received by Spidey lovers of all types. Of course they could pop up in the series as they are wonderful villains, but take it with a grain of salt. Embrace it. Love it.

Now, moving right along; the film starts with a transforming Dr. Connors violently ripping apart his office and transforming into the lizard. Next, we see a man in an alley shoot a restaurant worker in the head after the worker hears and acknowledges an explosion caused by the rest of his entourage. As the film progresses we see a young Peter Parker standing by a young Gwen Stacy in the middle of New York City. Peter feels something is wrong and leaves his class to investigate. He finds four villains and lifeless man on the side walk and proceeds to do what Spider-Man does best. Kick Butt and be witty while doing it. The scene then shifts back to Oscorp industries where the students of Midtown High are introduced to the maniacal Doctor Octopus and almost immediately after, The Lizard.

Now, the special effects, camera work, editing and acting are not only above par, but quite exceptional for an internet fan film. This is a low budget web series. In all areas of technicality, this should not do well. The odds are against it. However, Made Legit Media and the people who work with them have a gift. They are talented, they work hard, and most importantly they are fans who care. They get it. This group of "geeks" desires to see the source material of the comics along with the imaginations of true Spidey fanatics come to life. That is the goal, the purpose, and the vision. Money, internet traffic, and popularity hold no merit compared to the love of the fans . This series will give the fans an outlet to see their beloved Spider-Man come to life in a spectacular new way that gives the character justice in light of recent cinematic endeavors that were generally not well received by the fans overall.

Now I will close this article with something that most people have been absolutely BEGGING for. The post-credits scene featuring...yup, him; Miles Morales. I can announce to you all with confidence that Miles is not just something being explored like The Lizard and Doc Oc. Miles is most likely here to stay. The fans have spoken and Made Legit responded. Miles exists in this universe and I am sure he will not be the only other Spider-Man to pop up. Now, beautiful people, let me know your thoughts! Let your imagination run free! Are you excited about a Spider-Man web series?! Are you pumped about Miles? Are you ready to see new villains?! Sound off below!
