20 years ago the amazing British romantic comedy Four Weddings and a Funeral was released to the world. We were immediately swept up by charming and handsome Brit, Charles (Hugh Grant), as he hopelessly pursued the stunning American, Carrie (Andie MacDowell), whom he kept running into at wedding after wedding.

The film was a totally unexpected box office success and became the highest-grossing British film in cinema history at the time, pulling in an amazing $245.7 million, and also receiving an Oscar nomination for Best Picture!

But 20 years after they donned their best gear to go to the chapel of love, how are the cast of Four Weddings looking? See for yourself:

Hugh Grant as Charles

Age then: 34

Age now: 54

What has he been in since: Nine Months, Notting Hill, Mickey Blue Eyes, Bridget Jones's Diary (1 and 2!), About a Boy, Love Actually, Music and Lyrics. In 2015 he will star in [The Man From U.N.C.L.E.](movie:44548).

Fun Fact: Hugh Grant wasn't the first choice to play Charles - Alan Rickman was initially the front runner!

Andie MacDowell as Carrie

Age then: 36

Age now: 56

What has she been in since: Michael, Muppets from Space, Beauty Shop, The 5th Quarter, Jane by Design, and also the upcoming [Magic Mike XXL](movie:452782)!

Fun Fact: Marisa Tomei was up for the part of Carrie but turned it down due to not wanting to leave her sick grandfather. In a 2007 interview, Tomei said that she will "always regret" turning the role down.

James Fleet as Tom

Age then: 40

Age now: 60

What has he been in since: The Butterfly Effect, Sense and Sensibility, Spark, Kevin & Perry Go Large, Coronation Street, The Vicar of Dibley and is currently filming Love and Friendship.

Fun Fact: Filming for the movie took place in just 35 days, but was the first British film to win a Cesar, the French equivalent of the Oscars (it won for Best Foreign Film and Best Original Screenplay).

Kristin Scott Thomas as Fiona

Age then: 34

Age now: 54

What has she been in since: Mission: Impossible, The English Patient, Gosford Park, The Golden Compass, The Other Boleyn Girl, Confessions of a Shopaholic, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and My Old Lady.

Fun Fact: Kristin Scott Thomas is both an English and French citizen, and she dubbed her own voice for the French version of the film.

Simon Callow as Gareth

Age then: 45

Age now: 65

What has he been in since: Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Shakespeare in Love, Christmas Carol: The Movie, George and the Dragon, The Phantom of the Opera, Late Bloomers and in 2015 will star in Creditors.

Fun Fact: The budget for the film was so small that the Scottish wedding wasn't actually filmed in Scotland, and extras had to provide their own suits!

Anna Chancellor as Henrietta

Age then: 29

Age now: 49

What has she been in since: Pride and Prejudice, What a Girl Wants, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, St Trinian's, [Penny Dreadful](series:817319)and [Downton Abbey](series:251870).

Fun Fact: Throughout filming, Hugh Grant thought the movie was awful, and before composing the score, composer Richard Rodney Bennett fell asleep in the middle of his first viewing of the film!

Rowan Atkinson as Father Gerald

Age then: 40

Age now: 60

What has she been in since: Mr. Bean, Maybe Baby, Rat Race, Johnny English, Mr. Bean's Holiday and he is currently filming David Copperfield.

Fun Fact: Four Weddings and a Funeral is Rowan Atkinson's favorite film of his own.
