There are certain movies that despite how bad they can seem, they somehow draw an audience. One specific movie that comes to mind is a little unknown horror movie called "Killer Klowns From Outerspace". With a title like that, how could you not have a piqued interest. I remember my first exposure to this movie was on $5 bin at Wal-Mart. The price was low and the wacky pictures on the front were drawing me into its weird circus. I got home and placed the dvd into my player and boy was I glad I did.

"Lets fool around in that abandoned circus tent"

You are introduced to a crashing meteor that the whole town sees over head. However it turns out, that was no meteor. Some kids go to investigate only to find a strange circus set up in the middle of the woods. This sets into motion the best 80's movie ever made. Turns out this tent is actually a space ship for aliens that look like clowns. This plot is so bad that somehow the movie becomes a great ride. The "Klowns" are quite terrifying and most of the characters are acted pretty well.

So what are some crazy things in this movie? One thing is the "Klowns" love cotton candy, which they use to put humans into a cocoon. We can only assume their plan is to turn us into meat slushies. All of the "Klowns" have a different look and some can do some pretty ridiculous things. One "Klown" uses shadow puppets to interact with the real world and one "Klown" turns a cop into a puppet, literally.

This is truly one of my favorite B Horror movies. The plot sounds so ridiculous but when you watch the movie you can see the labor of love that went into its creation. Honestly, this should be on everyone's list to watch. Its a horror movie that doesn't take itself seriously, nor should you. If a town over run with crazy clowns who are secretly aliens, destroying humans in the most insane ways doesn't make you want to see this, then I don't know what will.
