According to reports, Disney is moving forward with developing the third movie in the "TRON" franchise.

"[TRON 3](movie:579417)" will begin shooting in Vancouver on October 5th. According to reports, the only actor currently on board is Garrett Hedlund who lead the previous film; "Tron: Legacy".

"Tron: Legacy" received mixed reviews from critics, it scored a 51% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It grossed just over $400 Million worldwide on a $170 Million budget.

Personally, I really enjoy "Tron: Legacy", it doesn't have the best screenplay or knockout performances, but it was a lot of fun, and I still believe that it should have been nominated at the Oscars for Best VFX and Best Original Score.

I know not a lot of audiences were anticipating a 3rd Tron film but as a fan of this franchise I have been longing to return to this world. I thought the last film was visually incredible, its score by Daft Punk is one of my all time favorites and I really liked Garret Hedlund in the lead role, so I'm glad he's returning.

Of course, Disney has not come out and confirmed this yet but its coming from a credible source in Vancouver where the film is set to be filmed.

Are you guys excited for "TRON 3" or were you left underwhelmed by "Tron: Legacy"? Either way, let me know in the comments!
