This is my first post, and I was really looking to get this out there as soon as possible as I have seen no one else mention anything like this.

So I was watching all of the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailers again, as you do, and I noticed something pretty interesting that I haven't seen anyone else mention. So the inside of Captain America's shield has always had the 2 leather handles in all of his previous films.

But I noticed in the newest Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer that Cap's shield does not have the handles anymore. If you look below at some screenshots I took from the trailer, you can see it's just plain metal on the inside now.

Well I took it upon myself to do a little bit of investigation. I've found that yes, he no longer has the leather handles, but seemingly magnets now. I found a high-res pic with Cap and Thor and if you look closely at Captain America, it looks to be what are large magnets. On both arms, he has one metal chunk on his forearm and one on the top of his hand glove, which aligns perfectly with where he would hold his shield.

It makes sense that they would be magnets because he obviously no longer has the classic leather handles. I'm not sure why or how he has decided to go with having magnets but i'm assuming it's part of Tony Stark upgrading everyone's weapons and outfits. It seems pretty cool and I'm interested to see how it will function, but It seems like the magnets would give Cap some advantages, as well as some disadvantages.

Below are a few more high-res picture of Cap with another look at the "magnets".

Okay but here is where I got a little confused. On this side where he is holding the shield, his hand still looks like it's gripping something, but his forearm seems to just be attached by the magnet. What do you think?

Anyway, this is where I end this. Please comment telling me what you think, it's my first post, so let me know how I did and If you would like to see more posts like this one, send your topic requests and I'd be happy to put in the effort if you guys are interested. Thanks!

Oh and just in case you want to watch the Avengers 2 trailer again, here it is.
