Over the five years Breaking Bad was on the air, it clearly amassed a legion of dedicated and die-hard fans. In fact, some of them have gone so far as to try and replicate some of the scenes from the show, although probably only the scenes which do not actually involve making huge amounts of methamphetamine.

This clearly shows that the fans love the show, but the Breaking Bad creator, Vince Gilligan, has now come out to tell people to stop replicating one particularly iconic scene. This one to be precise.

It seems fans have been going up to the house which portrayed the White residence in Breaking Bad and flinging (or trying to fling) pizzas onto the roof. This of course references one of the funnier scenes in Breaking Bad - with the pizza on the roof becoming somewhat of a reoccurring joke. Unfortunately, it's not a joke for the people who actually live in the house.

In the latest Better Call Saul Insider Podcast, Gilligan had to open on a bit of a stern note. He told listeners:

I wanna open with a bit of a downer. I know I'm not talking to anyone who is guilty of this, but uh - cause you fans who listen to the show, who love Breaking Bad and who now love Better Call Saul are not the folks I believe are doing this, but - the house in Albuquerque - the Walter White residence, the house we used for Breaking Bad, is a bit of a tourist attraction, as most of us know at this point. And the lady who lives in that house - she and her husband - are the two nicest people in the world, and they deserve to be treated well. And this has been okay with her for a long time, that people come and visit and get their picture taken in front of the house - just so long as they do so within reason and do so in a respectful manner. But lately - we're hearing from her - that folks are wandering onto her property and being rude to her when she comes out and basically says you're on my property and they're throwing pizzas on roofs and stuff like that. Let me tell ya - there's nothing original or funny or cool about throwing pizza on this lady's roof. It's just not funny, it's been done before, you're not the first.

Following this, Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmentraut on both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad, added this own threatening message to would-be pizza tossers:

And if I catch you doing it, I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN.

I'd take that seriously if I was you...
