After making history and becoming the first American actress to win a Cesar (the French equivalent of an Academy Award), Kristen Stewart's career continues to go from strength to strength as it was announced today that she will be starring in an upcoming Woody Allen film!
Kristen has been cast alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Bruce Willis for the as-yet-untitled project, for which no plot details have been released. The Guardian reports that all three actors cast were quick to say yes to the project which looks set to begin shooting later in the year.
This will be Stewart's first time working with Woody Allen, though she has starred alongside Jesse Eisenberg twice before in the 2009 film Adventureland and the upcoming [American Ultra](movie:1165829). Stewart was supposedly singled out to star in the film by Allen because of her enormous success as Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga.
Meanwhile, before filming can begin on Allen's next project, his latest film Irrational Man, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone will be released on July 24th.
