Here's Johnny! Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade and more iconic fighters return to Mortal Kombat X. Brutalities, fatalities and knock outs are all showcased in Mortal Kombats latest character reveal trailer!
Warner Bros and NetherRealm have released their latest trailer for Mortal Kombat X that certainly gives us an indication that family ties and prize bloodlines will play a major part in Mortal Kombat X. This trailer forms part of the opening sequence to Mortal Kombat X. This sequence is not available for public view at this time but the trailer below forms a major part of it.
Johnny Cage is an arrogant and overconfident fighter/actor that cares more for his movie career than preserving the art of his craft. Cage was originally created as a parody of Jean-Claude Van Damme. Johnny joined the ranks of Mortal Kombat back in 1992 to prove to his skeptics that he does not use special effects in his films.
Colonel Sonya Blade is notorious within the special forces and is one of the few original Mortal Kombat characters to remain a solid edition to the franchise since debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game as the first female character.
Johnny and Sonya actually have a daughter who will also be included in the Mortal Kombat X character line up. Cassie Cage is a soldier and works within the Special Forces division of the military. Cassie always brings a few guns to her fights that always gives her an advantage.
Other family links that will appear in Mortal Kombat X will include Jacqueline Briggs (daughter of Jax), Kung Jin (Kung Lao's younger cousin), and Takahashi Takeda (Kenshi's son).
NetherRealm are making one heck of a statement with Mortal Kombat X, they seem to be bringing all the greatest aspects from previous Mortal Kombat games and crashing them all together in one epic edition of fighting fury.
Mortal Kombat X will not be shy of a storyline either, NetherRealm have focused not only on the fighting but have proactively sourced a viable and highly entertaining storyline. Straight out of the 90's, Mortal Kombat X is cheesy one liner galore.
The third playable character we referred to goes by the name of Kenshi. Kenshi was first introduced back in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance. Although completely blind, Kenshi is a legendary fighter. Kenshi relies on his swordsmanship and telekinesis to defeat his foes.
