HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Victor Garber!

Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday.

Victor Jay Garber was born on March 16, 1949 in London, Ontario, Canada.

Starting work on the stage, Victor Garber's first achievement came from his role as Jesus in Godspell in his native Canada in 1972 and then a year later, reprised the role in a film version.

From then on, Garber focused on his career onstage, in which he has been nominated four times for a Tony Award, but still appeared in smaller roles on the big and small screen.

His movie credits include Sleepless in Seattle, Titanic, Annie (1999), Legally Blonde, Milk, You Again, Kung Fu Panda 2 and Argo.

Garber is no stranger to the small screen with a long list of small screen credits including The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, Ugly Betty, Eli Stone, Glee, Nurse Jackie, the voice of Charlie in the short lived 2011 series Charlie's Angels, Damages, Deception, Web Therapy, The Slap and many more.

Now here are my Top 3 Victor Garber roles (if you hadn't guessed by the titles omitted from the above lists!).

FIRST WIVES CLUB (1996)

I don't know what it is about this movie but I love it!

I'm pretty sure the first time I saw this film, another one with an awesome cast, was on TV but it wasn't until later on, after Alias, that I realised that it was Victor Garber, who played Elise's (Goldie Hawn) husband.

THE FLASH (2014 - ?)

Now I know that Garber has only appeared in only three episodes of the show but that was enough for me to like his character, Dr. Martin Stein.

The dynamic with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is awesome to watch but it's his work with Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell) that I love watching the most.

To hear that he is going to be apart of the untitled Arrow/The Flash spinoff series, if I wasn't already going to, guaranteed me watching the show!

ALIAS (2001-2006)

I LOVE this show and most of the reason is the relationship between Sydney and Jack Bristow and Jennifer Garner and Victor Garber, who earnt himself three Emmy nominations for the show.

Major proof that the relationship between the two wasn't just a show is that Garber is Godfather to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's daughter Violet and aside from being the only guest there, officiated Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's wedding.

Loving the Bristows only intensified when they introduced Irina Derevko (Lena Olin) into the show. Wow! Watching those three together was just amazing, loved every minute!

After looking for pictures and gifs of the show, I think I might have to marathon the series!
