Killing Floor 2 will allow you to cut through the zombie hordes in incredible gory detail. You will not miss a single drop of blood with this shooter running at 200 Frames-Per-Second!
Tripwire have released the latest in their Dev Diary series for the upcoming zombie shooter, Killing Floor 2. This episode is showcasing some serious next-gen firepower. Tripwire say that in Killing Floor 2 we will be able to shoot and mutilate zombies in a previously unheard of 200 Frames-Per-Second.
This astonishing frame rate takes advantage of what Tripwire call 'Zed-Time.' Zed-Time allows the player to enter into a focus mode that slows down time allowing for greater detail in both weapon mechanics and cinematic precision.
The original Killing Floor takes place in London, England. Horzine Biotech, a biotechnology company, is contracted to conduct experiments of a military nature involving mass cloning and genetic manipulation.
The British government quickly begins to organize ragtag teams of surviving British Army soldiers and Special Branch police officers to fight back against the hordes of mutated "specimens" now running amok throughout the capital and its outskirts. The player takes the role of a member of one of these teams as they partake in a variety of missions in and around the city of London.
Set just a month after the events of the original Killing Floor, KF2 drops players into a world where society is in total disarray. Communications are down, governments have collapsed, and military forces are nowhere to be seen.
Killling Floor 2 may very well be the goriest zombie release this year. For more Killing Floor 2 gameplay, screenshots and more click on the link below.
