Artist Danny Quirk is attempting to stop squeamishness amongst art fans by changing the perception of anatomy in art.

"Part of the goal of these pieces is to combat this ignorance, and educate individuals as to the beauty that lies beneath." states the artist.

To reproduce what is inside the body onto the outside Quirk uses people as models, then he applies liquid latex, acrylic paint and coloured pens to create the dramatic effects.

Rather than looking like someone just pulled apart by a Walker on The Walking Dead, Danny manages to encapsulate a beauty and element of fascination within his work. Creating images of the inner workings of the body and how intricate and wonderful it is.

"I got to experience first hand just how complex yet delicate the body is, wonderfully illustrating beauty is more than skin deep."
