(Warning: This article contains MAJOR spoilers for Jaume Collet-Serra’s 'Run All Night', so if you don't plan on seeing the movie/have seen the movie, or have particularly tough skin - please, read on! If you do plan on watching the film, ARE YOU MAD?! TURN AROUND AND LEAVE! GO, DAMMIT!)
When you hear the words "Liam Neeson," the sound of his illustrious name conjures up images of brilliant Jedi, unstoppable bad guys, relatable and super tough father figures and, naturally, Greek gods.
So to know that in the 62-year-old's latest vehicle, the action slugfest Run All Night in which Neeson... pretty much runs around at night, shooting shit up, the movie ends with him being straight up murdered by Common, who plays Mr. Price, and puts us in a fairly incongruous spot.
How are we supposed to take that? The man is untouchable!
MTV News sat down with the living legend and spoke with him about pulling off the previously thought impossible - a death scene:
In case you can't watch the vid, here are Neeson's ten cents:
They’re hard to do, aren’t they? You’re trying to keep your eyes open and stuff… and slide down a tree. You start to think of all the death scenes you’ve seen in the movies and try to emulate it in some way and do something different. At the end of day, you’re just trying to keep your eyes open and not flicker
I doubt we'll have to worry about our favorite action-loving elder statesman becoming the new Sean Bean and kicking the bucket in every friggin' movie he's in, it's just a phase. Just. A. Phase...
What do you guys think of all this?
Have you seen 'Run All Night' yet?
