Hope everyone has a safe and only slightly inebriated St. Patrick's Day and please, no drunk dialing......anyway....

Nickelodeon's latest bog screen offering "The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water." continues to rake in big cash for the children's tv network, increasing it's domestic box office haul this week to $154 million dollars, surpassing the controversial hit "American Sniper" and eclipsing Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis's mega flop "Jupiter Ascending" which debuted at a stunningly disappointing $18 million dollar opening weekend.

This is good news for 'Nick' as they dealt with a unexpected controversy of their own when an image of a topless female somehow made it on air an episode of one of the network's newest offerings, "Oggy and the Cockroaches." (Thankfully all of my children have outgrown or have IQ's a little too high on the scale to enjoy Nick cartoons anymore.) More on that bit of low brow exceptional-ism can be read here.

The Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water is playing in theaters nation wide.
