A British woman may have just made history after capturing what appears to be poltergeist activity live on camera.

Horrified Donna Ayres, 33, claims the footage shows the ghost of her dead brother terrorizing her home in Blackpool, England.

We've seen the petrifying horror movies, we've read the online ghost stories... does this video finally prove the existence of paranormal entities?

The mom-of-four has been documenting the spooky happenings on her Youtube channel for the last three months. According to Donna, what we see in the video is tame compared to what happens when the cameras aren't rolling. Her life has been made a living hell.

Donna revealed to The Mirror that she believes the spirit behind the freakish occurrences is that of her late brother, Paul, who died in 2009. She said,

"I believe this is happening because death has always followed me, but I have strong suspicions the spirit could be my brother, who died when I was younger.
Ever since my brother died strange things have occurred in every house I've lived in, it's been a living hell. We had a very troubled relationship, perhaps that's why he's come back to haunt me."

Donna first started to notice weird bangs and scratching noises shortly after her brother died.

Three months ago, things got so bad she started to document exactly what was happening in the house. The resulting videos show spoons flying across a kitchen worktop, everyday items moving of their own accord, and even a violently swinging chandelier.

Donna has moved house FIVE times in attempts to rid her and her family of the distressing disturbances. But just like in Paranormal Activity, where the victims of the ghost are plagued for life, the diabolical spirit refuses to leave her alone. She said,

"Since these first encounters I've had nothing but rampant paranormal activity in every house I've lived in, I'm just at the end of my tether.
I have even woke up with bruises some mornings, despite not being in contact with anyone."

She continued,

"Probably the worst time was when I was pinned to the bed, I'll never forget it – it was very traumatic."

As expected, the video has caused excitement, outrage, and disbelief amongst online commenters. The usual non-believers are quick to suggest the footage has been faked, whereas believers are adamant this is just another piece of evidence to be filed in the case for the existence of paranormal beings.

Sefton Paranormal, a respected organization of investigators within the paranormal community, has announced the video footage is genuine. They say this type of activity would be classified as a poltergeist.
