Ever heard of the Multiverse theory? Of course you have, your probably a superhero fanatic like me. But, for those of you who don't know what is, it is the Theory that for every decision that you make, a parallel universe is created in a scenario in which you made the opposite decision. So, in theory of course, there is a universe in which you are Batman.

Now, we all love the Avengers. Their casting was near perfection, and they have made superheroes mainstream. But, let's imagine that there is a universe in which RDJ wasn't cast as Iron Man. What if Marvel decided to cast someone other than Chris Hemsworth for the Mighty Thor? I'd like you to imagine a world in which some of the actors and actresses who were originally approached for the role, accepted the offer...

Oooh, Shiny...

Casting Anthony Edward Stark is quite a challenge because you have to find what you want out of Iron Man. As Jon Favreau stated about Stark, "He has to be a likeable butthole." There is obviously none better than RDJ for that, however seeing as this is a recast, I will not use him. But, after searching and searching, I have finally found a man who fits in the mold, or the armor, whatever. On the subject of a Parallel Universe, there was an actor who was actually offered the role of Tony Stark but ended up turning it down. That's right, I'm talking about the one and only Tom Cruise.

No cool title here
No cool title here

Captain America is the also especially difficult, because yet again, Chris Evans does so well. But there is someone else who I think could carry the shield. Again, he was someone originally on Kevin Feige's shortlist to play the Iconic first avenger. My Captain America is none other than Channing Tatum

The Infamous Black Widow

For Black Widow, you have to find a woman who can be a both AWESOME(!!) and elegant in her fighting style, and stay completely calm and sexy at the same time. Back in 2009, before Scarlett Johansson was cast as the Black Widow, there was another woman who fit the mold of the Black Widow. This woman is none other than the talented Action heroine Emily Blunt

Thor was the easiest recast for me, I thought of this actor immediately. For Thor, an actor would require not only the godly physical appearance we all know and love, but he also has to be able to pull off the viking part of Thor. To me, there is none other than Gerard Butler

The Incredible Hulk

-

Bruce Banner, aka the Incredible Hulk, was given his powers in a gamma bomb explosion while he was trying to save a young teenager's life. This transformed him into the uncontrollable monster, the Hulk. The prefix "re-" means "again or back", so when you say recasting you can mean someone new, or someone old who isn't there anymore. You have probably guessed by now that I am speaking of none other than Edward Norton, who played Bruce Banner in 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

While I love Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner/Hulk better than Edward Norton's, I still think they need to bring back Liv Tyler's Betty Ross and William Hurt's General Ross.

Hawkeye, the Archer

I can't be the only one who wants to see this suit
I can't be the only one who wants to see this suit

Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, was raised by circus performers. During his time at the Circus, he picked up skills like Archery and Hand-to-Hand Combat. When he witnessed Iron Man in action, he decided to emulate the hero and donned a colorful costume of his own. When he stopped a bank robbery, he was mistaken for the thief, and was taken in by current top thief and future-avenger Black Widow. Eventually, Hawkeye joined S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers. Back in 2010, Marvel was casting the role of Hawkeye and asked one person if he could play the role. The man turned the offer down, because he was in the 5th season of a TV show that is still running today. If you haven't guessed, I am referring to none other than Supernatural's Jensen Ackles.

Modeled after SLJ himself
Modeled after SLJ himself

There is no replacing Samuel L. Jackson, especially not when the character he's playing was modeled after him. But this is a recast and had Samuel L. Jackson, who was Marvel's first and only choice, declined the role, it is said that it would have been offered to David Hasselhoff, but worry not friends! I have not cast Hasselhoff as my Nick Fury. Besides Samuel L. Jacksons, I believe that there is no one else who could pull off a Nick Fury role than the one and only Denzel Washington.

Wanda Maximoff, aka The Scarlet Witch

-

We have not yet seen Scarlet Witch in Action, because her feature film debut is still a month and a half away. I will recast her anyways though, because she is still an Avenger. Wanda Maximoff is being portrayed by the wickedly-talented Elizabeth Olsen, and I think she is a great choice for the role. I'm still surprised that her and her brother are actually in this movie. It gives me hope of more "deals" with Fox in the near Future. But, anyway, back to the casting. I believe the person that was originally desired for the role before Joss Whedon would be my recast choice for Scarlet Witch. The actress' name is Summer Glau.

Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver

-

I'm not going to repeat everything I just said in the Scarlet Witch portion because I am trying not to be to redundant. Quicksilver, in my opinion, has been perfectly cast, but if Aaron Taylor-Johnson had not been cast, my choice wouldn't be cast either. That is because Evan Peters has already played Pietro Maximoff, for Fox.

The Astonishing Ant-Man (Scott Lang)

-

Scott Lang is the second person to wear the mantle of the Ant-Man, the first being Hank Pym aka the current Yellow Jacket. Scott Lang is a retired thief and father to Cassie Lang, aka Stature. Paul Rudd is playing Scott Lang in the upcoming film Ant-Man. My fancast might be called cheating or whatever but I think the perfect Scott Lang next to Paul Rudd is Brandon Routh

Yellow Jacket, aka Hank Pym

-

A different genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist from the Marvel universe. Hank Pym was the original Ant-Man and a founding member of the Avengers. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hank Pym is portrayed by Michael Douglas who is much older than Paul Rudd. My casting is portrayed by a younger actor who has proved himself. He even had a fanbase of people wanting him to play as Hank Pym. My choice for Yellow Jacket is Nathan Fillion.

The Wasp, aka Janet Van Dyne

-

Janet Van Dyne, according to Kevin Feige and Peyton Reed will have already passed away by the time the events of Ant-Man occur, and she will most likely be replaced with her daughter Hope Van Dyne, played by Evangeline Lily. I have chosen an actress who as well had her own fanbase of people who wanted to see her as the Wasp in the MCU. My casting choice for The Wasp is the amazing Morena Baccarin.

Doctor Stephen Strange, Sorcerer Supreme

-

Stephen Strange was a high-up neurosurgeon who was in a massive car crash. The Crash rendered his hands inable for use, ending his surgical career. He journeyed to the country of Tibet, seeking out the Ancient One. When Strange found him, the Ancient One made Strange his apprentice. Eventually, he became Dr. Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme. Benedict Cumberbatch is the best possible Doctor Strange, just as almost all of Marvel's casting choices, but as many people know, almost every male, dark-haired actor was offered the role. My choice for the role of Doctor Strange goes to one of the best people in Hollywood, who for some reason keeps starring in crappy movies. You probably know exactly who I'm talking about: Liam Neeson

Captain Marvel, aka Maj. Carol Danvers

-

Ok, so technically this is not a recast it's a fancast. But I couldn't leave any stones unturned. I've seen many debates on the internet over who should play as Carol Danvers in a future movie. The most popular that I've seen is my choice. My casting for Carol Danvers is Katee Sackhoff

The Black Panther, King of Wakanda

-

Chadwick Boseman has already been cast as T'challa, aka the Black Panther for Captain America: Civil War and his own solo film in 2018, and as always, Marvel did perfect casting for the role. My choice for a recast of the character has already played in a Marvel Movie. My casting for the Black Panther is none other than Djimon Hounsou

Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans

-

I know what you're thinking: "Oh God, will he ever shut up?" Don't worry, this is my second to last casting. Black Bolt is the Leader of the race known as the Inhumans, which are already popping up in the MCU and getting a movie in 2019 but who should play as the leader of the Royal Family? Many fans have speculated many different actors, but the most popular candidate is the one I agree with and chose. Especially since the cover photo fiasco. My choice is Vin Diesel

And now for my Final Casting!

-

The Spectacular Spider-Man

-

So unless you live under a rock, you have heard that Marvel finally brought Spidey home! The wall-crawler will be featured in Captain America: Civil War, and will be given his own reboot (not origin story) in 2017. One of the biggest topics on the internet right now is who they should cast as him. My opinion is one of the most-obscure, frowned-upon, and disliked opinions yet. I think Peter Parker should be played by Grant Gustin

Some will say that my recast is dumb, long, even boring, but this is just my Opinion on a possible Avengers Recast. And according to the Multiverse Theory, there is a possibility that this Avengers exists, just in another universe. But hey, that's just a theory, a scientific and a movie theory. Thanks for reading!
