The expansions to Call of Duty Advanced Warfare are now just as anticipated as the games initial release, the first DLC for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was aptly titled Havoc.
Havoc may have completely changed the way we look at the zombie genre all together. Havoc introduced us to a terrifying new breed of zombie that runs, jumps and darts through the environment and now it's getting even more terrifying.
The second DLC is almost here, releasing March 31st on Xbox, one month later on Playstation and PC is named Ascendance. This pack features brand new weapons and a selection of new maps but most importantly it features a whole new 'Exo -Zombie' experience.
This new chapter will bring the movements, abilities, and weapons of the exoskeleton into battle against the undead.
"Located on the outskirts of an Atlas facility, the new Exo Zombies episode introduces a slew of never-before-seen undead masses, a robust arsenal of new traps and armaments and everyone's favorite fast food joint, Burgertown." - Activision
It's chapter 2 of the zombie experience, the exo zombies are loose, they are fast and they are ravenous. Be prepared, we are not the only ones to get new weapons and tech to battle the enemy, the zombies do too. The zombies have all the gear and only one idea... to eat your brains!
Ascendance will introduce four new multiplayer maps - Perplex, Climate, Chop Shop and Site 244. your new arsenal will include the 'OHM, Directed Energy Weapon', This latest weapon is a support gun and can switch from a long range weapon to close quarter weapon in seconds. It effectively allows for two high velocity primary weapons on your class.
Activision have also introduced an Exo-Grapple, this grapple can be deployed on all new map packs and devs say that the Exo Grapple "gives players a faster way to reach strategic vantage points or a brutal secondary weapon to take down the competition"
