Domhnall Gleeson as Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Dohmnall brought a very entertaining, awkward charm in the movie About Time that has a few parallels to the demeanour of Peter Parker. I do feel his awkward demeanour can compliment Tobey Maguire's performance in a way that doesn't make me cringe. As pointed out by Michael O'Brien, he is Irish. I sincerely apologise to the Irish community and the British community. Thank you for pointing out before it got too much out of hand.

Do you like the casting?

Candice Patton as Mary Jane Watson

Candice is great as Iris West in the current Flash series. MJ doesn't have to be white, neither does she have to be a red-head. Her hair colour looks dyed in the comics anyway. Candice could probably manage being Iris and MJ. Ryan Reynolds is technically Deadpool, Hannibal King and Green Lantern. She's confident, nice and independent. I could definitely see her as MJ.

Do you like the casting?

Julie Walters as Aunt May

Another Harry Potter actor. Her sweet and protective nature, mixed with her fiery and bad-ass nature that is shown through Molly Weasley would make her a great Aunt May. She can be a nice and supportive, motherly figure while also being able to give Peter some tough love.

Do you like the casting?

Jay Baruchel as Harry Osborn

I guess Jay Baruchel would also make a decent Peter Parker but the way I picture Harry is a lot like his iteration on the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon series. He can be a close and supportive friend of Peter but become underneath when Peter gains more confidence along his spider powers. Along with his abusive father Norman Osborn, Harry would become fed up and become a villain. We haven't seen Jay be a villain yet but I think it would be cool to see him evil.

Do you like the casting?

Bryan Cranston as J. Jonah Jameson

Everybody seems to think he would make a good Lex Luthor. I really don't think so. Luthor is calm, sneaky and manipulative. Bryan just would come off as too edgy. Having said that, he would make a great Jameson. Breaking Bad shows that he can be passionate and lose his cool while remaining interesting and entertaining. Putting him in an office environment would also be fresh.

Do you like the casting?

Kevin Spacey as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin

He gave Lex Luthor a shot, maybe this is his true super-villain role. We've seen him as an evil, mean businessman in Horrible Bosses. He's gone crazy in The Usual Suspects and Se7en. I haven't seen House Of Cards but I'm going to assume he's good in that as well. Kevin can be abusive, cruel, psychotic and cynical and would therefore make a great Norman Osborn.

Those are all the ones I have. I really don't know who I want for Doc Ock, Venom and Uncle Ben. I've been basically taking an hour on each character, considering who I would want, I just can't think of anyone. Let me know down below what you think.
