So TJ Miller has confirmed to play as Wilson's sidekick 'Weasel', in the upcoming X Men spin-off 'Deadpool'. And with Gina Carano set to play as Angel Dust, we are left with two unspecified roles : Deadpool's love interest and the villain. While Morena Baccarain has already been signed to play as the lead female actor, the character that she will portray has not been announced yet. But the real question is, who will be [Deadpool](movie:38663)'s villain? Here are my five suggestions that might just do the job for the Merc with a mouth's first solo flick.

1. Taskmaster

Deadpool And Taskmaster Are Just Epic!

The obvious choice anybody would go for would be the Task Master. Like the Joker for Batman and Venom for Spiderman, Task Master is the ultimate arch nemesis of Wade Wilson. Taskmaster is also an antihero like Wilson so making them fight needs a great script. Taskmaster has photographic reflexes that enable him manipulate the opponents body movements and he is skilled in swordsmanship, acrobats and a wide range of combats. But personally, I feel that Deadpool needs to get well established as a superhero character in his first movie before letting him fight his most dangerous battle. Joker came into the Batman trilogy in the second movie. Likewise, Venom and the Mandarin were introduced in the third movie of Spiderman and Iron Man trilogies as well. I think it would be preferable to go for a simple villain in Deadpool's debut movie (X men : Wolverine Origins never happened in my universe) and gain him the fans, the status and expectations that other superheros have earned.

2. Bullseye

I know Bullseye is the primary villain of [Daredevil](movie:47230) but come on! Deadpool and Bullseye had a really long comic book duel and it had a really awesome story line too. He is a psychopath and has a dark sense of humor just like Deadpool. And using Bullseye can again serve to tie up with the MCU as Marvel have their Daredevil Netflix series. Bullseye has no superpower and still he was a competitive opponent against Deadpool in the comics so it would be a treat to watch on screen.

3. Ajax

My Personal Choice? Ajax!
My Personal Choice? Ajax!

I think Ajax would be the perfect choice for a villain in a Deadpool origin story. Francis/Ajax and Wilson encountered each other as test subjects during the Weapon X program. Ajax was though, the strong arm for Killbrew who ran the project. When Wilson killed one of the inmates there, Ajax was summoned to kill Wilson and this was followed by some powerful duels that lasted for issues. Ajax has enhanced strength and intuitive capability along with super speed and better pain management. This made him a challenging opponent for Deadpool.

4. Carnage

Maybe and just maybe, Carnage could be introduced in this movie to the superhero world. I always loved Carnage and he has been my favorite childhood villain ever since I know. Carnage is a symbiote similar to Venom but he is more evil and more dangerous. Bringing Carnage into the movie would serve as a tie up with the MCU since Marvel is reportedly making Peter Parker a high school student in their movie and Weasel is a classmate of Peter Parker in comic series. It is also well know that Deadpool and Spiderman had an unforgettable bromance so it all connects and actually makes sense too. Imagine how cool it would be to finally see the ruthless symbiote giving a terrible time to Deadpool and Spider man.. That's something worth dying for.

5. Deadpool Himself?

Laughter Guaranteed!
Laughter Guaranteed!

This is a dangerous concept but if executed perfectly, Deadpool (2016) could simply become the greatest superhero movie of all time. We are all well aware that Deadpool will eventually end up in the X Men movies sooner or later. So this movie can be used to introduce Deadpool as an antihero who gets convinced to become the good guy and help Xavier and the X Men. With rumors of the Wolverine appearing in the movie, this might actually be it. The greatest enemy of Deadpool has always been himself and a battle between his dark side and conscience would be truly a great concept for a fourth wall breaking movie.

And I know that all you guys expected T-Ray to be in the list but let's face it! That comic book story line would be absolutely ridiculous if made into a movie. Also Slayback and Kaine would be great choices too bit they just didn't make it into the best five.

So whom do you think should be in the new movie? Is there another great villain who deserves to be on the list? Leave a comment below! Deadpool is set to release on February 12, 2016.
