When asked by Moviefone if he was excited to work with Rian Johnson on the next "Star Wars" installment, Isaac's short, "Yes. Very excited," pretty much confirmed that his character, Poe Dameron, would make it out of the events of Episode VII (whatever those may be) unscathed and return for another adventure.
While he remained largely mum about the latest installment in the Star Wars franchise, he did reveal that flying an X-Wing may not be quite what many fan boys would imagine. "It was very cool, but a little nauseating because the thing is on a gimbal and moving all around. I forgot to breathe and I was like, 'Whoa.' But it was very cool."
During the interview, Isaac also touched on "X-Men, "My first comic book I ever collected was 'X-Factor' and I actually really loved Apocalypse. And yeah, so when I heard that maybe that would be the next villain, I was like, 'Guys, get me in there, I want to meet with them'...Apocalypse is so cool and weird and scary and I wanted to be a part of that."
While he confirmed that he would be on set for the filming (versus motion screen capture) he provided no other details.
The seventh "Star Wars" film opens December opens on December 18th and X-Men: Apocalypse is set to open next year on May 27th.
