The cast for the upcoming film "The Bad Batch" has just been revealed and it certainly is an interesting one to say the least.

The film is described as follows:

The film tells a dystopian love story set in a Texas wasteland where a community of cannibals resides.

The cast includes: Jason Momoa (Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice), Jim Carrey (Dumb and Dumber To), Keanu Reeves (John Wick), Diego Luna (Elysium) and Suki Waterhouse (Insurgent).

The film starts production next month.

The premise sounds wacky, the cast is strange....and I'm completely on board.

In recent years all of our post apocalyptic films seem to be targeted at a Young Adult audience, this sounds a hell of a lot different, a love story set in a wasteland run by cannibals? Sounds fun to me.

The real draw of this film is easily the cast. I'm not too familiar with Diego Luna and Suki Waterhouse but the other three, I am a big fan of.

Jason Momoa hasn't really found the right role in his career yet, lets hope he nails it with Aquaman, which I think he will. I remember seeing Momoa on "Stargate: Atlantis" and really enjoying him on there, it's a shame his movie career hasn't been as fortunate.

Jim Carrey is of course an acting legend but hasn't had that many hits as of late. His small role in "Kick-Ass 2" was fun yet under utilised and his last film "Dumb and Dumber To" was a flop to say the least. I love Carrey and I'm waiting for a great comeback, lets hope this is the one.

Keanu Reeves might be my favourite cast member of this movie, for all of my life I have adored Keanu Reeves, he knows he's not a thespian but he puts everything he has into every single role. His latest film; "John Wick" hasn't yet released in the UK so I haven't had chance to see it, but trust me I cannot wait. I've heard fantastic things about the film and Reeves in it.

This is a truly outlandish premise with an even more outlandish cast, I hope you guys are as excited about this as I am!
