I'm here to talk about things that will make geeks and nerds squeel. And also talk about stuff like Marvel, Star Wars, those kinds of things

I cannot wait for Batman vs. Superman. It is my most anticipated movie of 2016. However, it always seems there is some kind of issue from this movie. First the title, then the overcrowding, then the casting, and then the looks of the superheroes, Aquaman much. This article is to both express how I feel about these issues and how I want this film to work. So here we go.

No Secondary Villains

Bizarro

Doomsday

There have been rumors going around with Doomsday and then Bizarro and then Metallo being in this film. People can't choose who to be in the film. I say have none of them in the film. They have no purpose in the story. Doomsday is integral to Superman, same with Bizarro, they would be better in Supe's solo film. The only villain in the film should be Lex Luthor. That's it. If you're going to put them in there, then have it be like an easter egg or show it at the end of the film. Other than that, keep them out of it.

Batman and Lex Luthor to be Done Right

Batman

Lex Luthor
Lex Luthor

This is a crucial point that I want to make. We are getting Lex Luthor in [Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice](movie:711870) and it is time we got a true portrayal of Lex. We want a Lex that is comic accurate and actually poses a threat to Superman. Have him run for president like he did in the comics and have him destroy Superman's character as the events of [Man of Steel](movie:15593) show that the world is afraid of him but is now warming up to him. Have Lex come in and take that away from Superman and use it to become the president! Make him destroy Superman by turning everyone against him only so he can further himself. And with Batman, make him afraid and hate Superman, so much that he takes matters into his own hands and fights him so that a threat no longer exists. They're making the film based loosely off of The Dark Knight Returns, so have it so that Batman sees the threat in Superman, comes out of retirement, fights Superman, Superman persuades him to stop, and they become allies, maybe even friends, and stop Lex Luthor. I want so that Batman thinks Superman is a threat and fights him, but they become friends afterwards.

SUPERMAN TO BE DONE RIGHT!

SUPERMAN!!!
SUPERMAN!!!

I can't stress this enough. While I thought Man of Steel was all right, I found it almost offensive as a Superman film. It wasn't true to his character, he let thousands of innocents die, half of Metropolis was destroyed, and he KILLED Zod. I accept Zod's death as he needed to kill him, but it's still against his character as he doesn't kill. So, play with it. Superman destroyed Metropolis and thousands died, so have that be the bases for his character. After witnessing the destruction and deaths, have him vow to never kill again and to protect Metropolis from any destruction. Don't have him be the same as he was in Man of Steel, make him wiser and closer to his ACTUAL character.

The Story to be Good

What I mean by this is for the story to be compelling and awesome. How I want it is Lex Luthor uses the hatred of Superman to get him into the Oval Office and paint him as the enemy. Batman sees Superman as a threat and comes out of retirement to take care of him. At the half way point have Batman and Superman duke it out, with Superman trying to convince Batman that he is the good guy with Batman not listening. After Batman is beaten to a bloody pulp, Superman gives him his arm to help Batman up and convinces him that Lex Luthor is the true enemy and have them work together to put Lex behind bars. And at the end have the Justice League appear and recruit them.

This is the last and most important point I have. It is...

Don't Make Dawn of Justice More Important Than Batman vs. Superman!!!

This basically means make this Batman and Superman's story with Lex Luthor and Lois Lane in the mix. I'm fine with this setting up Justice League. I am, but I don't want it to be integral to the story. I don't want [Wonder Woman](movie:45787) showing half way through the film and helping Superman and Batman. Have the Justice League show up at THE END and then you can set up Justice League. This is the first time we see BATMAN AND SUPERMAN on the same screen! Do we only want about 20 minutes of them together and then the Justice League show up. NO! We want this movie to be about Batman and Superman, not a setup for Justice League. So filmmakers, please just let the story be about Superman and Batman. I will be happy then. And please fix up [Aquaman](movie:264237).
