Have you ever thought about what it would be like to see R-Rated classic (mostly gritty) movies turned into family-friendly children's books? It's an awesome concept, designed by Pixar storyboard artist Josh Cooley who worked on some of the best G-rated films in Ratatouille, Up, and The Incredibles. He did these as a sort of side project and it ended up being awesome.

I am not sure if it would be a great idea to read some of these to your kids, though, because, while super cool, they are probably nightmare-inducing for small children.

Check out these classics reimagined!
