Mr. T is going to star in a home improvement show called I Pity the Tool, and while it's certainly unclear that Mr. T has any knowledge on the subject, the pun is simply too good for the DIY Network to pass up.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it:
"will see Mr. T and his famed Mohawk destroying outdated spaces to give families beautifully remodeled rooms. Each episode of the series will see Mr. T and his team — including HGTV Design Star winner and interior designer Tiffany Brooks break down walls and tear out old rooms to give a family a home makeover."
I think this is going to be either a massive success, or an utter failure. There is pretty much no middle ground here. If Mr. T were to fix up my house, though, I have to say I would be thrilled.
And all I really know is that Mr. T being on my television screen is likely to make me a happier person. And on a broader note, Mr. T might be what America needs right now. His iconic mohawk could guide this great nation into a bright and sturdy future - where no house goes unrenovated.
How will Mr. T's home improvement show, 'I Pity the Tool' fair?
