As we all know, the friendship between Vin Diesel and Paul Walker was something truly deep. The two actors starred in the Fast and Furious franchise together since the first film back in 2001, and continued their friendship until Paul's untimely and tragic death in November 2013.

Since his passing Vin has paid tribute to the man he called his 'brother Pablo' at every given opportunity, never once forgetting to thank him. However today Vin revealed the one tribute to Paul that simply blows all the others out of the water, that he named his baby daughter 'Pauline'.

Appearing on the Today show with host Natalie Morales he shared with viewers that he had named his little girl 'Pauline' after his best friend and partner in crime. Vin Diesel told Morales that calling her Pauline would be a wonderful way to make certain that his friend would always be remembered, saying:

It felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my family and a part of my world

What a truly beautiful homage.

For many years the cast and crew of the Fast and Furious franchise have repeatedly said that they considered each other family above all else, and with the naming of Vin's daughter, it's so apparent that that is so true.

As if that wasn't totally heart-warming enough, he also spoke about how he knew that his best friend was right there alongside him in the delivery room as he welcomed his new baby daughter into the world.

There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. I just thought, I knew he was there.

After all that Vin has been through following the death of Paul Walker, naming his child after his brother and best friend just seems like the most beautiful and fitting thing to happen. He may be gone, but for Vin, baby Pauline and millions of fans, Paul Walker will never be forgotten.
