Yep, you read the title right, Infinite Earths fans. Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed once again. The news comes from the game's official Twitter account, where it was announced that the hotly anticipated sequel will launch worldwide on June 23, 2015.
The title was set to arrive at retail on June 2, making this a three week delay.
No reason for the delay has been given and this is not the first time that Rocksteady and Warner Bros. have pushed the game back. It was originally slated for release on October 14th of last year, then delayed until June of 2015.
But, as if in a move to ease the pain, a new gameplay video has been released, showcasing some really awesome footage from the PS4 version of the game:
"We're a developer that hates to make any compromises, so we are sorry to say this means it's going to be just a little bit longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy. As a reward for your patience and understanding, and to make the wait even more unbearable, we are pleased to whet your appetite with a new gameplay video of Batman: Arkham Knight."
Batman: Arkham Knight launches worldwide, hopefully, on June 23, 2015.
Until next time, Infinite Earths fans!
