Today I'm going to discuss some of the rumors surrounding Avengers 2 and try to make sense of some of them. Since these are all rumors it's extremely possible that most of things won't happen BUT if they do happen, hahaha I told you so.
It's no secret that [Black Panther](movie:9047)'s notorious foe, Klaw, will be making an appearance in the movie. Ultron need vibranium, he also likes vibranium... they're practically made for each other. This information is all fine and dandy, but what does this mean for Black Panther? We already know who's playing the role and he WAS cast just in time for Whedon to do some re-shoots- This leads me to believe that he's bound to make at least somewhat of an appearance, if anything a cameo. They've been teasing this character since Iron Man 2 (2010) and they need to just give him to us already, geez.
Doctor Strange is a character that was first referenced in 2014's "[Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973)" and has a solo film being released a few months after 2016's "Captain America: Civil War". The difference between this movie and the other Marvel movies released thus far, is the fact that he will not have an origin story. Introducing the character early, whether towards the end or in a post credit scene, would definitely help solidify his involvement with rest of the MCU. (Plus I heard his movie may be Marvel's first attempt at a horror movie, so that'd be cool!)
[Captain Marvel](movie:949779) Already?!
This concept came as a shock to fans because she's really not supposed to make her MCU debut for over 3 years. Joss Whedon has downright confirmed that there are old and new characters secretly sprinkled throughout the film, which is information that will make any Marvel nerd hyperventilate. It's still a secret as to WHO will be playing the role but still, ain't that cool.
This rumor is something I could absolutely get on board with. In my previous post, "Avengers 2: So What Exactly Does "Age of Ultron" Mean For the MCU?", I proposed that this would be the Hulk's last film. Rookie mistake, I might add, because Mark Ruffalo still has four whole movies left in his contract! It's been officially confirmed that Hulk will be lost and no one will know where he is AND there was that rumor about him interacting with the Guardians of the Galaxy at one point. It makes perfect sense to conjoin those ideas, as you can't just lose a giant, green monster on Earth.
The Masters of Evil?!
Now this would be an epic addition to "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron". In the comics, Ultron is the leader of a team of super villains called the "Masters of Evil". Having elements of this in the movie would be incredible, especially with rumors of Red Skull returning in the near future and with Klaw officially being in Avengers 2. Having an epic ending with a variety of bad guys would allow for Joss Whedon to have the EPIC ending he has promised and, let's face it, it'd be totally BA.
