Now, before we begin, I want to make clear that this is just what I think would be the best and most logical way to introduce Civil War into the MCU. I also think that this would reel viewers back into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I have been watching and waiting for Agents of S.H.I.E.LD. to get the attention it deserves. I was so thrilled that it was directly tied to [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973)! They also had the agents scouring through debris of Malekith's destruction in London, but with the arrival of Civil War in the MCU approaching,I got to thinking about how they could both intertwine.
Yes, her. For those who don't follow [Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.](series:722469), that is Quake. She is an Inhuman who has the ability to control seismic activity and other ground related properties. She is Skye in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D! With the season starting off with Skye being unable to control her new abilities so far, I had an idea...
As of yet, Skye has already been able to break glass, damage a jet, and cause the power to go out. So then it wouldn't be that crazy to say that she could bring down buildings, right? Maybe even a university?
Yes, they have set it up beautifully! We have already seen the S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy in Season 1, and Agent May's ex-husband works at a university. Well, I think that Skye may lose just a little bit too much control this time. And maybe this time she will downward spiral at a university; killing students and outraging the government. Resulting in the government wanting all Inhumans, superhumans, and superheroes to register nationally.
I really hope to see Skye use her powers on a bigger scale one day, and seeing her first outburst lead us into [Captain America: Civil War](movie:994409) would be incredible.
I hope that this is what Joss Whedon already has in mind!
