In the past few episodes of the flash; Joe, and Cisco have been working together to solve a crime. That crime is the murder of Nora Allen. Joe and Cisco found to what seems to be 2 samples of blood under some wall paper at the scene of the crime. Joe then tells Cisco to run the samples against Harrison Wells DNA. At first Cisco was hesitant to do so, but something made him change his mind. Later on in that episode Cisco contacts Joe to let him know that he ran the samples. Joe's first question was if Wells in fact a match for one of the 2 samples, Cisco quickly says that Wells wasn't a match but Barry was.

We now know from last weeks episode of [The Flash](series:1068303) that Wells, or should I say Eobard, was in fact there the night of Barry's moms death. If Cisco ran the samples.....why didn't both get a match? They were both there that same night. This could only mean one thing. Wells is in fact a real person. When traveled back in time, Eobard needed an identity. Having known the future, he must know that Wells was someone who's identity would be easy to steal. The real Harrison Wells must have been a scientist with a lot of money. So knowing this, he would then in later years use this to advantage when coming across Barry Allen.

Was the real Wells on the verge of making the particle accelerator? Would the particle accelerator have malfunctioned if the real Wells built it? Did the real Wells even have money? What if Eobard used being from the future to his advantage. He could win the the lottery cause he already knows the numbers. Bet on a certain team to win a championship. Even make a killing in the stock market. Having been from the future has its advantages and disadvantages. In time will tell if we find out about the real Wells, until now this is just a theory.
