So this is my Top 5 Comic/manga villains, First if your not familiar with Manga it's Japanese styled comics - mostly targeting adults but some are also for children. I was going to do both villains and heroes but I'm not a hero fan, only like Batman really, plus my family and friends say I'm twisted in the head so I just click with villains naturally okay let's get this started, First off is....
I love everything about his back story, it's just so well done, He has that soft side that just screams I want someone to love me for me and well you have too! Odin first found Loki while fighting in battle against the Frost Giants, after winning the battle Odin stumbled upon an Asgardian-sized baby, knowing that the little one would die without his parents Odin took him and raised him as his own, his angry and resentment towards Thor - Odin's birth son made Loki acted out time from time till Father O. just couldn't take it anymore and had him locked up hoping that a little time would do Loki good, well it didn't he escaped from his cell and went on to study black arts that's how he earn his name as the God of Mischief.
Back in 2011 when Tom Hiddleston was cast as Loki by Marvel Studios in Thor i didn't think he would do the character any justice but hell was i wrong, he made me fall for the character even more and i've even went on a beige watch of Tom's past work, which is pretty good if I may say so. Also i picked him for his Norse background I'm a big fan of Mythology, pretty much any kind so this always pulled my attention toward him.
#4 Hades Aidoneus
Like I said above I'm a big fan of Mythology so I easily fell for Hades in the manga "Kamisama no Asobi" he's not portrayed as usual, this version of Hades is more caring of others so it's easier to feel a connection with him. Last year in April the manga got an anime TV series adaption which let you even get a closer feel to the characters, if your a manga reader I suggest you watch the anime I promise it's good, funny and even has it heart felt moments which will leave you crying.
I picked him because of how his character developed through out the series, he teaches us that if you let people in they can help you, he was so worried that if he let his friends get close that they were get hurt (for the ones who don't know Hades is cursed) but instead they all grew closer and experience the bad and good together.#3 The Joker
I really love him a lot, He is a psychopath who caught my heart. There are a few back stories to choose from for him so which one should it be, well let's start off with the original, its amazing and has those elements that just make you wanna read more, He's more of a jokester you know.
"A joke a day keeps the gloom away!" - The Joker
The new 52 Joker is my favorite he is utterly, completely insane and I love that. If you don't find him lovable your not human! I know a lot of people don't like the new comics that means they haven't read them, so to make your I don't spoil anything. I'll just say that I think Scott Snyder did a fantastic job on remaking the joker and that the comics give a very fresh look to a lot of our favorite characters, Anyway I just can't help but wish to be his Harley Quinn or at least the batman lol.
Okay this little sweetheart? Well he's not very sweet but he's not evil... the way he acts with Nanami I'm not sure If he is like that just to get his pal Tomoe back or did he fall for beautiful Nanami, like every other guy seems to do by just glancing at her, like For real I wish I was her. Again this manga got a TV series adaption in 2012 that was so beautifully done that it got picked up for second season this year, if you haven't seen the anime watch it, if you haven't read the manga read it!
The reason he's my favorite is for his real form it's so bad a**, in the manga/anime Akura loses his body in this realm (i forgot the name of the realm so sorry) while his soul is floating around he runs into a guy's soul who can't more on because he doesn't want to hurt his parents, Akura tells the boy he will take his body and go live on as him so his parents won't suffer. Honestly I didn't think he was telling the truth since all he did in the past was kill and pillage , but when he got into the boy's body he went to go live with the family. I was so amazed and touched that he did it, that I fell for him and his bad boy-sweetheart charm plus his looks ain't bad either, love his style and in anime they gave him the perfect voice actor.
Save the best for last as they always say (hehe) you can see from my last four villains I'm not a big fan of girls characters I don't know if it's because they make them so dang lame sometimes or what but I have never really been draw in, That all changed when I saw Cheetah. She is one crazy lady but has a good reason for that, suffering from split personalities made her kinda hard to befriend but her and wonder woman were the best-est of friends.
One day when she went to a fundraiser in Europe where cheetah was given the instructions to tight her up with chains from many different prisons all over the world and then she was placed in a tank of water, little did she know that Cheetah had added in her magic Lasso hoping that she would.. well let's say become a fish. Luckily Wonder still broke free but she never really trusted Cheetah after that again, who would though no one wants a friend like that, anyway after reading some comics with cheetah in them I looked at female characters in a different light, I thought to myself they're some actually cool girl characters out in the world.
Well, that's my list i hope you enjoyed reading.. and if you didn't can you just lie to me, so i can feel good about myself, pretty please! Thank you.
