So a new 15-second Avengers 2: Age of Ultron TV Spot came out today. It has a few new scenes, and the ones from the previous trailers/spots have been slightly altered. (New sound effects, flipped video)
Obviously if you haven't seen it, check it out here:
It was pretty cool right?
Well right at the start, there is like an extra second leading up to the moment that Thor hits Captain America's shield. It offers a small look from a different angle.
Then, here's after the strike.
Next, you would have noticed a new shot of an Ultron Minion getting hit by Cap's shield.
The Avengers 2 TV Spot is edited to make it look like Thor is hitting the shield into this minion, but I think it's just to confuse us. It's probably actually the scene from the previous TV Spot, where the shield takes out about 5 minions in a row. Either way, it's quite the epic move.
Next up, probably another one of the coolest moments. Captain America drop-kicking an Ultron Minion.
Captain America is going to have some really great hand-to-hand combat scenes in this, just like in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier](movie:254973). I'd expect a lot more of Cap doing cool stuff like this in Avengers 2!
Then there's This pick of Thor, most likely calling back his hammer Mjolnir. I mean, what else would he have his hand up like that for? Not sure where this is, but it looks like a really dark and cool location.
So that's pretty much it for the new scenes, now I will show you some of the differences between this TV Spot and the previous Avengers 2 trailers/spots.
First up, would be the shot of Captain America picking up his helmet. This has been shown a few times in the trailers, and each time is from a different angle. I suppose Joss Whedon can't make up his mind on which he likes better.
So previously, it looked like this.
Now in this new spot, it looks like this.
So as you can see, quite a big camera angle change. Personally, I like the first one better.
These next ones aren't really important, but I thought I'd point them out anyway. So this one shot of [Black Widow](movie:1070824) pulling out her batons, is now flipped. I'm assuming that's to confuse. I'd say the first shot is the real one.
Then of course, there is Hulk. In this new TV Spot, the scene of him turning looks to be slightly better scrubbed up when you watch the video. Looks a little nice and smoother, when before when he turned it looked a little sharp. Also, the clip is flipped. So obviously they'll be editing the film right up until near the release date, that's why you'll notice that small changes have been made here and there.
Well, that's about it for this. Hope you liked it, sorry if it's not that good but I wanted to get this out ASAP. Thanks for reading!
