If you grew up in the '90s, or I guess if you have Internet access and a love of coming-of-age TV series, then you have probably plopped yourself down for a healthy dose of Boy Meets World at one time or another.

From 1993 to 2000, audiences watched Cory Matthews and the gang grow from young students trudging through the awkwardness of being a teen, into a group who perfectly illustrated the high highs and low lows of being a young adult.

Cory Matthews - Ben Savage

Boy Meets World made everybody felt like Cory Matthews was their best friend. Ben Savage played the perfect everyman and was totally relatable. Cory made mistakes and learned from them so that we didn't have to. He was never exceptional at anything other than being himself, and that's all that really mattered!

Following Boy Meets World, Ben Savage took a brief break from acting. In 2004 he graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Political Science. Since returning to acting, his credits include various TV shows including Chuck, Without a Trace, Bones, and a lead role in the 2007 film Palo Alto. In 2012, Savage announced via Twitter that he would be reprising his role of Cory Matthews for the spin-off series Girl Meets World about his and Topanga's daughter.

Topanga Lawrence - Danielle Fishel

Danielle Fishel played the smart, beautiful, and eccentric Topanga Lawrence. She taught girls that it you should be proud to be smart and never be afraid to let your freak flag fly! She was also the love of Cory Matthew's life and was part of the greatest love story to ever grace our televisions.

After playing Topanga, Fishel has kept acting. One of her more memorable roles includes playing Marla, basically the opposite of Topanga, in National Lampoon's Dorm Daze and its sequel. In 2013 Fishel graduated from California State University, Fullerton and staring the next year she began working alongside her Boy Meets World coworkers again for Girl Meets World.

Shawn Hunter - Rider Strong

Let's be honest, Topanga and Cory were made for each other, but Cory and Shawn were definitely soulmates. He was the bad boy from the other side of the tracks with a heart of gold. Even though he had some troubling days, he always did the right thing in the end.

Since Boy Meets World, Rider Strong has had a pretty steady career. Today he works as an actor, director, producer and screenwriter. In 2004 he graduated magna cum laude from Colombia University with a degree in English. He also has a Master of Fine Arts from Bennington College. Some of Strong's credits include Cabin Fever, Pepper Dennis, and voicing Brick Flagg in Kim Possible. He's also made a guest appearances and directed a few episodes of Girl Meets World.

Eric Matthews - Will Friedel

How do I even begin to describe Eric Matthews? Will Friedel played the comic relief in an already hilarious show. He was never the brightest bulb in the bunch, he also always came through when you needed him to, and dammit, he was entertaining.

Contrary to what fans will want to believe, Friedel does not go by the name "Plays With Squirrels" and live in the woods with his moose-wife. Instead, his career is mostly an extensive list of voice acting credits. It ranges from playing Ron Stoppable on Kim Possible to Bumblebee in Transformers: Robots in Disguise. He also plays Uncle Eric/Mr. Squirrels on a couple episodes of Girl Meets World.

Jack Hunter - Matthew Lawrence

Jack Hunter was Shawn's estranged, and much more financially sound half-brother and Eric's best friend/roommate. He was the yin to Eric's yang and played the rational, logical role to Eric's spontaneous, reckless one.

A few years after playing Jack, Lawrence played Victor in Cheats followed by starring alongside Rob Schneider in The Hot Chick. More recently he guest starred on his brother Joey's show [Melissa & Joey](series:1074814) and a role on [Workaholics](series:720998).

Rachel McGuire - Maitland Ward

Maitland Ward played the tall, stunning Rachel. She was the object of Eric and Jack's affection and nearly tore the group apart for a bit! But once the guys got to know her, it turned out she was an even better person on the inside.

Maitland Ward hasn't done much acting since playing Rachel, but she did play Brittany Wilson in the Wayans' brother's comedy hit White Chicks.

Angela Moore - Trina McGee

Army brat, Angela Moore, came into the group and was a breath of fresh air. Finally Topanga had a sensible and sarcastic friend who could help put the boys in their place. She also ended up being exactly the kind of woman Shawn needed to add some stability into his life. Shawn and Angela forever ♥!

Like some of her costars, Trina McGee seems to have set acting aside since Boy Meets World. She's had a few small television roles since the show ended in 2000, but seems to have stayed pretty quiet. She was in the film Friday After Next but acted under the name Tekla Ruchi.

Alan Matthews - William Russ

William Russ played the very "dad" dad of Eric, Cory, and Morgan. While he was always a little more lenient on Eric than Cory, his relationships with all of their kids were always strong.

Following Boy Meets World, William Russ has appeared in around 45 different TV shows including: Ally McBeal, Mister Sterling, CSI: NY, Without a Trace, The Sopranos, Numb3rs, Boston Legal, The Ex List, The Young and the Restless, 90210, and Girl Meets World.

Amy Matthews - Betsy Randle

Amy Matthews was the mom every kid of the '90s shared. She was the perfect balance to Alan's impulsiveness and always had sage advice for her children.

Betsy Randle has had just a few acting credits to her name after 2000 and appears to be focusing on her family instead. But she has also joined her TV husband to play Grandma Matthews on Girl Meets World.

Morgan Matthews - Lindsay Ridgeway

As both an annoying younger sister and an annoyed older sister, I can vouch that Morgan Matthews took natures path by turning from a cute little youngster, to being a snarky pre-teen, mostly at Cory's expense.

Ridgeway was actually the second actress to play Morgan Matthews after the original Morgan, Lily Nicksay, who left after season 2. Ridgeway's only acting credits following Boy Meets World is voicing Britney on Totally Spies! Instead she began focusing on her education and graduated with a degree in Political Science from UC Riverside in 2007. She then received her Masters Degree in Counseling from the University of Redlands in 2010. She is currently a semi-regular performer, singing the national anthem for various Los Angeles sports teams.

George Feeny - William Daniels

Mr. Feeny was Cory's teacher/neighbor/mentor. Whether he was giving the gang a stern talking to, or letting them sort out their issues themselves, he always knew just what to say. I think everyone wanted a Mr. Feeny type character in their lives.

I often wonder how frequently William Daniels is walking down the street and hears a random voice call out, "Feeny! Fe-he-he-heeney!" Probably pretty often. So, when he's not addressing Boy Meets World fans, he's still acting on other shows. Fans might have recognized him as Commissioner Andrew Schmidt on The Closer, Dr. Craig Thomas on Grey's Anatomy, and, of course, Mr. Feeny on [Girl Meets World](series:762950).

So that's what the cast of Boy Meets World has been up to since the show's conclusion. It's pretty hard to believe that this show has been off the air for 15 years already! Which character from the show is your favorite and why? Let me know in the comments section.
