Here is a list of my top 5 comic book characters. These are from the comics of Marvel, DC, and even my own I plan on writing.

1. Aquaman

Aquaman has always been a joke character since his debut in issue 73 of More Fun Comics in 1941. Surprisingly he didn't get his own comic until January of 1962, 21 years later. Aquaman has gone through loss and death throughout his reign as king of the seas. He lost his first son Arthur Currey Jr to Black Manta, his wife left him shortly after. Even though he was a joke character, Aquaman issue #1 of the new 52 series was a #1 best seller and slowly has risen his status. Aquaman, the man who has Beaten Martian Manhunter in battle, fought numerous times against Wonder Woman, Challenged Batman's knowledge, and even stood up to Superman and punch him in his overpowered face, will always be my number one.

"I know there are certain benighted souls who think I'm some kind of third-rate hero, scavenger -- but I'd think you of all people -- would know better! But since you seem a bit confused -- let me make this perfectly clear... I was in the world saving game when people like Firestorm and Black Lightning were still in diapers... I've worked hard to earn the respect and trust of every living creature under the waves -- and I take my job very seriously... So get this through your head, punk... I'm AQUAMAN, King of the Seven Seas... And I am the BEST!"

2. Drizzle

It won't let me post pic. Sorry.

A comic character I created myself. Makko Slade had the perfect life in Kentucky, with his wife and daughter. One day a storm brew and he could hear the wind howl and the thunder crackle. The tornado sirens went off. He brought his wife and daughter to the bunker for protection when his wife ran inside the house. Makko locked his daughter in and ran after his wife. The tornado struck the house while they were inside. It tore the house to shreds and lifted both Makko and his wife into the air. Makkos wife died, but inside the tornado Makko was struck by multiple lighting bolts. So much electricity that his cells started to fuse with the lightning, wind, And rain. Giving Makko his powers of storm manipulation. He became the Drizzle. Drizzle has Super Strength, intelligence, the ability to manipulate the weather only if there are water policules in the air. His weakness is that he is vulnerable to anything that a normal person is. Drizzle was my first created hero. And one of my favorites. He is just awesome.

"Why do you bother with these monologue's. Black hawk, Animality. Leave this to me my friends. This time, no man dies. But this creature shall perrish."

3. Hulk

The Hulk, the imbodyment of anger. His debut was in 1962 #1 the incredible Hulk. Hulks alias is Bruce Banner a very intelligent man. The Hulk has many powers that most people don't know about, which is why he is my number 3. The Hulk is Immortal, Bruce Banner is not though, so I guess if Bruce Banner dies the Hulk will live on. The Hulk can also see Ghosts, thats a weird one. And did you know the Hulk was supposed to be Grey and not Green. The Hulk can never be out powered, as a trump card whenever the Hulk gets out powered, he gets really, really angry so he gets so much stronger. I believe if Superman ever fought the Hulk, I believe the Hulk would win.

"Hulk is Hulk"

4. Thor Odinson

Thor Odinson, derived from the Norse Myths, The god of Thunder and Sea travel. His comic debut was in 1962 Journey into Mystery #83. Thor the son of Odin leader of the gods of Asgard has the power over Lighyning (my favorite element and power). His Great Hammer Mjolnir grants him the ability to fly, and weather manipulation. I love the Norse myths and I love how they turned the myths into one of the greatest comic series created.

"Waves are but water. Wind but air. And though lightning be fire...yet it must answer thunders call."

5. The Lantern Corps.

The Lanterns first appered in 1961 Showcase #33. The Lantern Corps. Are just awesome, a different color for a different emotion; Green-Willpower, Yellow-Fear, Orange-Avarice, Blue-Hope, Star Sapphire-Love, Indigo-Compassion, Red-Anger, White-Life, Black-Death. And each one copes with another, Yellow drains the Green Rings power, and the Blue Ring gets more powerful with the Green near by,...etc. Guardians of the Galaxy, and destroyers of the Galaxy. These rings give these bearers great and powerful abilities that help them in any battle. During the Blackest night and Brightest day series the Justice league became several ring bearers starting with the black rings.

"In Brightest day and Blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight,
Those who worship evils might
Beware my power-- Green lanterns light!"-Green Lantern Corps

"With blood and rage of crimson red,
Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead,
Together with our hellish hate,
We'll burn you all -- that is your fate!"- red lantern corps.

"Whats mine is mine and mine and mine,
And mine and mine and mine!
Not yours!"- Orange Lantern corps

"In brightest day and blackest night,
Beware your fears made into light,
Let those who try to stop what's right,
Burn like my power Sinestros might"- Sinestro (yellow) corps.

"In fearful day and raging night,
With strong hearts full, our souls ignight,
When all seems lost in a war of light,
Look to the starts, for hope burns bright."- Blue lanterns corps.

"For lerek San, nor nakka mur,
Natromo faan tornek wot ur,
Ter lantern kur lo Abin Sur,
Taar look look nok--Formorrow Sur!"- Indigo Corps

"For hearts long lost and full of fright,
For those alone in Blackest night,
Accept our ring And join our fight,
Love conquers all with violet light."- Star Sapphire corps.

"The Blackest night falls from the skies,
The darkness grows as a light dies,
We crave your hearts and your demise,
By my Black hand, the dead shall rise."- Black Lantern Corps.
