Marvel has proven that they make great television shows. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D proved this and agent carter further proved this. And now Daredevil is getting a Netflix series which I hope is better than the movie. But these are 2 Comics that marvel could take to television successfully I think.

Spiderman Loves Mary Jane #10 cover (How cute!)

  • #3 (Spider-man Loves Mary Jane)

The story focuses on Mary Jane's day to day life with all the craziness that ensues. Throughout the story Mary has to deal with her friend Liz, Harry Osborn, Peter Parker and of course her massive crush on none other than good ol' Spidey himself. Each issue of Spidey loves MJ is like a television episode and is chalk full of romance, drama action, and everything being a teenager brings. She has to find herself through the whole series ad even though the series ends abruptly in a cliffhanger and never resolves it would translate well to TV really well and that is why it is #3 on my list

Powers bureau is quite honestly one of the best comics I have read recently. The concept is one the most original to date and deals with issue in government and the rules in society and in the law. The characters are dynamic and likable and have real agendas that are mostly realistic minus the super powers of course. It would translate well to a Super Crime drama in TV and each issue can be fleshed out more to cover an episode. I know that this title is published by Icon Comics but Icon is owned by marvel so it's fair game.
